There have been some posts on the Marquette thread on the Womens' BB section of the forum complaining about the lack of coverage of the Yotes by the Argus & KELO. If we want more coverage, Coyote Nation needs to step up and prove that there is demand. SDSU sold out the Pentagon for their game yesterday against Dunk City. We need to make sure we do the same against UNLV on Saturday, Dec. 13. Let's turn the Pentagon into a sea of red (Coyote not Rebel) and become the first SD D-1 team to win a game in the Pentagon.

Bought 4 tickets and invited another couple. New to USD, but fans of the game. I consider it Fan Training 101. Only one rule...wear red and never blue and yellow to a sporting event. Go Yotes.

Also, just so every one knows it...Florida Gulf Coast is not a good team. The Jacks got beat by a very average team that is still living off its Cinderalla story two years ago. The Coyotes 11 point loss at Stanford is a hell of a lot more impressive than a 13 point loss on a friendly floor. Get on board people and back the Yotes. See you the 13th

I also bought an extra pair of tickets just to invite friends who otherwise wouldn't attend. Pack the Pentagon!

They must have had a heck of a rush on ticket sales starting last Wednesday. I was on Ticketmaster getting 2 extra tickets for the USD game and looked at the available tickets for the Pentagon game on Sunday and they were not close to a sell out. If anybody was there, I'd be interested to hear if it was truly a sold out game or a marketing ploy.

I was at the game and it was a sell out. The corner seats in the back rows were all full. There were very few no shows in sections anywhere any they were in sections that had been sold out for weeks. The box score lists the attendance as 3250 and indicates it was a sell out.

I saw a photo online. Lots of empty seats, I guess that's because of the autograph line at the end of "dunk city's" bench!

I didn't see any empty seats when the game started. That was my first time in the Pentagon...interesting place. Go a little early and take a walk around the hallways outside the Heritage Court: there's a lot of state (as in the State of South Dakota) basketball memorabilia on display. Good luck to the Coyotes against UNLV. That'd be a nice W against a recognized opponent.

That are picked to win their conference and are currently ranked 16th in the Mid-Major Poll. They are solid and a very VERY athletic team with a great point guard in Comer. What is the point to even say that? Also just wait till George Marshall gets into the lineup. It will be a totally different team.

If you are referring to the photo that is apart of the "Jacks drop first game at Sanford Pentagon" article, that is picture of Keaton Moffitt (O'Gorman grad who got his 1st start as a D1 player against FGCU) playing against SD Tech in Frost Arena during an exhibition game. It's clearly not a photo of the SDSU/FGCU game at the Pentagon. If you watched the game or seen highlights you would know it was a sell out crowd.

You got it, that was my mistake, I take responsibility for it, I was wrong, I was just trying to take a stab at the Jacks fans (they are such easy marks). (Note to self: stay away from gojacks.com) "If you watched the game" (NO) "or seen highlights" (AND NO)... I know it was a sell out crowd, there were eye-witnesses posting on here, and I read it in the Argus. To get back on the thread, State sold out the Pentagon, now it's up to The University of South Dakota to do the same.
