My thought exactly. If the wabbits offer a multi year deal I want the AD, president, and all opposed state fans to stop at every USD house in the state to apologize and thank us for making it possible.
I have little hope their heads will shrink thinking Brookings is a mecca for coaches where even Calipari would stay forever because there is no better place to live and coach than Brookings.
I for one would like to thank USD,who in typical sleazy fashion, tried to slink in the back door and force a policy change at the BOR. Fortunately SDSU people forced the BOR to go through proper channels. With that said, i don't think a highly successful program like ours would have a problem hiring a top notch coach without mult-year contracts. The yotes hired the men's bb coach you wanted and your program sucked/sucks. There's the delusion we all wanted to laugh at, thanks for posting.

Let's not forget that the Summit was not very good and not very stable before the Dakota schools became a part of it. The Horizon has weakened over the past 5 years and the Summit has gotten much better. What was before is not currently. NDSU, SDSU, USD, Denver, UNO all new and strong additions. Centenary, UMKC and Southern Utah all good substractions. Typical cf response. Kiyoat gives you 10 years of data proving the Horizon is a better conference and you respond with a weak strawman. I did enjoy you including USD and their roughly 250 RPI and one of the "strong additions". Lol

Here is the timeline for hiring a new coach, at least for recruiting purposes: Spring NLI Dates: Basketball (Regular Period) April 13, 2016 (start) Division I: May 18, 2016 (end) Open scholarships at SDSU right now: 4 + 1 verbal commit from a 6'8" 285 F. ***I will acknowledge that for transfers it is a different story.

I'll be laughing my ass off, like I do every football season we play you. I'll be laughing a little bit harder now that we have the new digs. And considering we already have coaches that are pretty good throwing their hats in the ring, I think we'll be just fine. Next year will most likely be rough sailing with a new staff and the losses from this year, but I'd wager we still do better than the yotes. Thanks for the concern however.

thumped--I was talking BB but I'm just happy for you that the bunnies could finally win a couple of FB payoff games after 20 years of trying. If I were you I wouldn't be too excited about FB in the future!! Kind've like how your women's BB team could never lose the conference, or to the Lady Yotes, etc. By the way your other sports REALLY need work--lagging way behind the Yotes!!!

We should probably be more considerate, if we are nice to the rabbits, they might not unleash the dauminator on our new arena. Hell, he doesnt need anyone to pass him the ball, or any teammates at all for that matter! because thats how damn good SDSU is at basketball....

And those candidates that have actually thrown their hat in the ring are? ? I have little doubt you will get a good coach, but that comment was a bit misleading.

I think he meant throwing their hats in the ring at other schools... Like Nagy...?

I'm glad that the second the WNIT ended this board fell right back into being strictly a smack board Yeah, the SDSU trolls are starting to cause this to get out of control. Lots of smack in non-smack threads. Thing is we pride ourselves on not putting the muzzle on posters to this board. Heck, we've let Coyote Fan rant on for years. We're not like the Bunny Board and don't need to stifle speech, we can handle ourselves just fine.

I didn't see a lot of wabbit fans laughing last Fall in Vermillion during the game. You do know the Jacks won, right? Sure do. I was referencing the 3 quarters we were winning and state fans were not their typical douche selves. After the game multiple state fans were at our tailgate eating and drinking and many commented on how even the teams where and that the schools appear to be on an even playing field again.
We probably laugh harder at watching the wabbits try and beat NDSU.
