Is it my imagination or does the insertion of Hanna into the starting lineup appear to cause the second team to struggle to find offense. When Taylor was in the starting line up our opponents were concentrating on Ciara, Chloe and Madison leaving Taylor a bit more available and Hanna would be the goto person for second squad causing the other team to counter.

I think that's a pretty solid observation.

That is a solid observation Bob. I remember last year it was clear Hannah was the better player than Taylor, but it appeared they like bringing Hannah off the bench because she could obtain better matchups against backups.
I do think our gals looked like they just didn’t have energy tonight and they never had their legs. I think they may have still been recovering from the physical nature of the Missouri game. It reminded me of when they beat Michigan State and couldn't recover in time for TCU. We missed a ton of shots in close. And Missouri State’s defense had a whole lot to do with it, so don’t discount that. I do agree we could use a true PG. I don’t believe Lamb or McKeever are that type of player. Lamb was invisible out there Thursday. Too many waiting around on Duffy to save them. Sometimes someone else has to pick up the slack.

Controlled but aggressive. You don’t want Lamb or McKeever passing up shots or driving opportunities and those two each on a wing with a wrist cocked and Arens finding openings wherever as Duffy beats somebody off the bounce is kind of this team’s ID ... but just because you put it on the floor doesn’t mean you’ve got to pull it for it to have been a successful foray to the paint. Kick outs and skip passes are good plays. Drive for that next look sometimes. Spurs style. Everybody is capable of putting it in the hole. Just keep moving it until somebody is so open they have to.
I really feel like this team is going to find an offensive rhythm here at some point and be very hard to stop. Six games in is all. They’ll find it and they’re going to be scary when they do.

I also thought the ball got stagnant Thursday. Ball movement helps them since they’re all capable.

A few set plays to open up Duffy would be helpful. Teams are really keying on her for good reason.
