Man o Man can anyone tackle wearing red and white today. One of the defensive players just bumped into Sumner and didn't even bother trying to tackle him. Unacceptable.

RJ just said it best. "We are inventing things to get flagged for."

Blocked field goal by SDSU. This thread could very appropriately be merged with "the Coyotes are an embarrassment to South Dakota" thread and once again be appropriate. How can special teams be this terrible.

Big play by the Yotes and on special teams. Blocked punt returned about 40 yards for a touchdown. 2 pointer good. 24-8 Jacks.

Well, I just turned off the broadcast I was receiving on this debacle. What a joke!
To add insult to injury I could not get into this before the game got started. I ordered and paid for it last night. I had to reorder and pay again to finally get it about mid-way thru the first quarter. It would figure that the jackies would rip me off. Oh, and the audio was about 5 to 7 seconds ahead of the video which made it almost unwatchable. I'm gonna complain and ask for at least half of my money back. I guess I should not be surprised considering the source.
Thank goodness this season is mercifully over. Somebody get in touch with me next year if the Yotes acually look like they are playing football again. Until then I don't really care. I bet I'm not the only one feeling this way either.
See ya!

As soon as even a little bit of hope comes into this game the Yotes take notice of that and allow the Jacks a very quick and decisive touchdown which is the Yotes mantra. It's like the Jacks were just playing possum with the Yotes and as soon as they needed to do something it was very easy for the Jacks to move the ball. 31-8 Blue and Yellow

It just had a jumbled screen that said Midco with no video. Thank goodness this season is mercifully over. Somebody get in touch with me next year if the Yotes acually look like they are playing football again. Until then I don't really care. I bet I'm not the only one feeling this way either.

Now Earl is in the game. Why even bother at this point. Earl comes in twice this season and both times the game was out of reach. Thanks alot Glenn for giving this offense almost no chance for success this year.

It would certainly be opened to a thorough house cleaning at the end of this season. Lets scrubb to an inch of it's life every bit of the losing culture of this program and wash it right down the drain. We need a pretty scruffy brush to get all this losing out of here that has rusted in the lockerroom for all these years. I am guessing the mold from the 1990's is still being allowed to have it's corner of the lockerroom and is still festering somewhere. On the other hand the success of the 1980's and prior has somehow already been whiped completely clean somehow.

I hope the Jacks run up the score here in the last moment. They won't and the knee is taken inside the 10.

Final 31-8. My pick of 35-7 was fairly close.

Glenn post game comments
Jacks defense was just too good. Little things that bothered the team crept up again. Glenn says "it is what it is". Another short interview from the coach. Why can't they have a longer post game interview like what the Jacks do.

Sad that NDSU brought more fans last year to CAS than USD brought today. That attendance record would have fallen if USD alumni had done their part.
15,278 is a rather disappointing turnout but understandable factoring in the lack of success USD has had this year, the $40 ticket price, and the lethargic fan base overall.
The team needs to step up and so do the alumni.

I am glad that the USD fan turnout was not so great. It shows that the common fan isn't gonna put up with this season and also that refutes the claim by many SDSU fans that USD people only care about this game. The only games I missed personally were UNI and SDSU out of protest for this season other than the games far away from home. I want to set the example that I care much more about USD than I care about this rivalry. I haven't gone to a State-U game of any sport to prove that the State-U game is not more important than just being a fan of South Dakota. Apparently many others share this view and should IMHO.

Joe Glenn has decided sadly to put his unwavered faith in a quarterback that I think would struggle to start for many high schools teams. Basically Joe Glenn's decision has probably cost the Coyotes a couple of wins and possibly more if Earl would have been the starter from day 1. I really believe that the problems on this team stem from that decision. How can you keep all these players heads into the game not giving them the best possible chance to win a game. I would be frustrated as well if I were a player with the kind of decisions that Glenn has already made. I am not blaming this on Josh, because he is doing the best he can do given his ability. If Joe Glenn is making the kinds of decisions that he is as the seasons unfolds how are we going to expect anything different as this program moves onward. People can back Glenn on the quarterback decision but do you honestly think he is making the best decision that allows the Coyotes to win. Vander Maten had a pretty good high school career, so he could play for a lot of high school teams. The one thing that was not mentioned was that Earl threw 2 picks in the game and I heard they did not look that great. Maybe Vander Maten is the best QB...and that is not good at all.
