In thinking about this game late on the evening before the game I think of 4 different emotions that will be on display after the game. From least to most.
1) For South Dakota fans if the Coyotes lose I don't really think many Coyote fans will lose sleep over it. It will be mildly disappointing but nothing compared to the season long disappointment that has already been endured.
2) For SDSU fans if they win the game it will be expected by about 90% of realistic observers. Their fans will be satisfied just as much about making the playoffs as beating the Yotes, but it can't be downplayed how much SDSU fans want to make sure they don't lose this game.
3) For South Dakota fans if they win the game it will go along ways towards making things a bit more easy to take as the season ends but I certainly hope the win doesn't get over exaggerated but more of an ''it's about time" win instead. It will only slightly take the sting out of this season.
4) I think by far the biggest emotion would be for SDSU fans if they should lose this game. As much as they want to just look at this game as another game, if they lose they will never think that way again. It would be as bitter of a loss as almost any SDSU team would have to endure in the history of the series. Certainly it would rank top 5, one would have to think. It would be a major upset and more than likely cost the Jacks a playoff spot. I don't see them making it in with only 7 wins and 2 losses to end the year capped by a home loss to a one win team. This would pretty much be a devestating loss. They would have to deal with the emotion of not only blowing a playoff spot but having to take the grief of all South Dakota fans on top of it. That would truly be priceless.
I would love nothing more than to be wrong but I just think there are just too many things that the Yotes are going to have to overcome. My pick is 35-7 Jacks.

I think this game will go one of two ways for a couple reasons. One way if sdsu wins, Jacks 28 Yotes 10. Doesn't seem like a blowout but in a rivalry game it is and the defense has played well lately. If this kind of score is the case that means we get hit in the mouth early and fold. Other way If Yotes pull off upset, Yotes 17 Jacks 14. Only way Yotes can win is low scoring game where jacks turn the ball over I'm modeling this score similar to when Youngstown knocked off the bison last year. If I was a betting man I take the Yotes.... To cover spread an lose 28-10.

I'll be watching this for $6.95 from gojacks.com as it is my only source. It makes me sick to spend money with them.
I'll be estatic if the Yotes pull off what would be the biggest upset in SD college football history but realistically I'm just hoping for a close game. A jackie blowout would be very disturbing.
Come on Yotes get the job done today! Knock 'em out of the playoffs with a program shredding demoralizing loss that would really shut up one of the most obnoxious and clueless fan base in all of FCS.
Go South Dakota! Go Coyotes! Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If, and I know that is a big 'if', the Yotes get the upset I'm saying 21 to 17 with a late heroic TD pass to Powell which would be a great way to end his career. Too bad he was not red-shirted like he should have been.
Go Coyotes!

Heading to the game now and plan on getting into the stadium early - Have a SRO ticket.
Should be a win for the Jacks. That being said I am hoping for a great game and a solid start on an even better rivalry at the Division One level.
Attendance prediction: 16,500

Sounds like a blowout unfortunately after six minutes and down two tds. Sadly, I see no positives from this season. Too many errors and penalties for a last game of season. I don't know of any explanation for late season errors other than very poor coaching, which never enhances recruiting.

Joe Glenn has decided sadly to put his unwavered faith in a quarterback that I think would struggle to start for many high schools teams. Basically Joe Glenn's decision has probably cost the Coyotes a couple of wins and possibly more if Earl would have been the starter from day 1. I really believe that the problems on this team stem from that decision. How can you keep all these players heads into the game not giving them the best possible chance to win a game. I would be frustrated as well if I were a player with the kind of decisions that Glenn has already made. I am not blaming this on Josh, because he is doing the best he can do given his ability.
If Joe Glenn is making the kinds of decisions that he is as the seasons unfolds how are we going to expect anything different as this program moves onward. People can back Glenn on the quarterback decision but do you honestly think he is making the best decision that allows the Coyotes to win.

From what I see online if the Coyotes consider this their superbowl it sure doesn't look like it. They are getting dominated in pretty much every aspect. 21-0 Jacks just into the 2nd quarter.

It is amazing to me how athletes that are fairly even in talent can play in a game that strategically looks like it is a D1 team vs a NAIA team in execution.
It's amazing to me how proud the radio team is of the Coyotes ability to stop Zenner so far. If this game was a contest I could see the excitement but the game is not close so who cares how well they stop Zenner. If Zenner gets -20 yards rushing and the Jacks win it 56-0 is that really something to be proud of. Obviously everything else in the game is leading to a debacle.

Oh my gosh Rod Pattison just totally got it right. When Josh got thrown down after the whistle and a personal foul was called he made an interesting comment. He asked if the Jacks fans really knew the rules to the game. It was an obvious penalty on the Jacks yet all their fans were crying foul like they didn't understand the game. I have seen that type of behavior from their fans in the past so I can totally understand where Rod is coming from. They do that after every penalty and foul is called on one of their players. This is the total attitude of most of their fan base. They constantly bash their opponents, constantly bash things about their opponents. Basically show little to no respect. If you read their message board you would know exactly what I mean.
Yoteforever I know you and I don't always agree but I think we are on the same wavelength when it comes to how the Jacks fans behavior can be, which is one word could be described as "clueless".

The Yotes continue to have trouble with clock management which is generally a result of poor coaching. The Yotes punt and the returner fumbles the ball. There are 3 Yotes set to pounce on the ball but it bounced to the only other Jacks player near the ball. Another sign that this season was simply made to torture Coyote fans from beginning to end.

The Jacks kick a 48 yard field goal at the :03 mark. Great performance so far from the Yotes (shakes head)
24-0 Jacks at the half.

Yotes did get down to the Jacks 7 yards line but didn't do anything after that. They went for it on 4th and goal and ran a play that had almost no chance to work even if it would have been complete. Of course it was incomplete so it didn't matter. Jacks take over still leading 24-0.

Yotes drive toward the SDSU endzone but Robb misses another field goal. Even Robb hasn't been very great this year. Is there even one aspect of this football team that is any good. Other than Starr and Powell what else is there.
