I took a look on stub hub but couldn’t find any yet. I wasn’t surprised to see the USD @ndsu game topping out well over $200 and I didn’t see any under $100. It is the most expensive Fabulous Fargo Dome game.
The NDSU @ SDSU game is out there so I won’t be surprised to see the SDSU @ USD game show up now that it is SO.

The Bison have had their defensive depth tested. Injury wise they lost a number of significant players. The easier games were loaded on the front end. This gave the talented depth chart a chance at some competitive reps. They are seasoned veterans now. scout.com/college/north-dakota-state/Article/Upon-Film-Review-NDSU-vs-ISUb-108683441Links to a film review of the Bison Indiana game. Good use of short film clips to demonstrate his points. Great feature. Would be good for any team.

Here's how the season looks this morning of 10/8:
9-1-1 Last week 9-2
The ISUr game has pulled even. ISUr doesn't update its statistics. They didn't have a good game and USD remains solid. ISUr is also solid but weakness are starting to show especially looking at rush defense.
The SDSU game hands the 'Yotes a 2pt advantage with no home field factored in. The game is a virtual tie.
The Bison continue to look dominate but things should tighten up for them as they begin to face the top of the league. YSU is up next.
Early season games not called USD @ WIU: USD -5, O/U 65, typical score 35-30 USD wins YSU @ USD: USD -7, O/U 67, typical score 32-25 USD wins
Games for Week 10/14:
ISUb @ USD: USD -23, O/U 59, typical score 41-18 USD @ ISUr: USD 0, O/U 61, typical score 29-32 ISUr has not updated it stats since 9/24. Im calling it even right now. ISUr may be fading and USD is certainly not which closes the indicated 3 pt spread in favor of ISUr. SIU @ USD: USD -11, O/U 61, typical score 36-25 USD @ UNI: USD -15, O/U 71, typical score 43-28. UNI remains dangerous. USD @ NDSU: USD +9, O/U 63, typical score 27-36. USD has won in the Fargo Dome. SDSU @ USD: USD -2, O/U 60, typical score 31-29. No home field advantage here either.

Game day!!!!! Just lying in the camper across from the dome, waiting to pull it into lot 36. What a day and what a game its going to be. Socialized (btw...Verm has a lot of gorgeous women) last night and everybody is pumped... all thinking the outcomes going to be the same as im thinking...Coyotes put oot their best game of the year yet... first 4 were practice! Nice! Sounds great. Wish I could be there today. Outdoor tailgating, indoor football. Doesn't get any better.

Great call Coyotecrazy 5.
I just checked it again and the Penguins have a 60% third down conversion rate. This is very good. Keeps a lot of drives alive.
On the bright side their TOP compared to opponents is about the same as USD and they don't score as many points as the Coyotes. I'm not sure what they are doing with all those first downs?
Great day at the Dakota Dome! Hope the tailgate is under the sun!
Go Yotes!

Here's a bonus game
week of 10/7:
UNC @ UND as the tie breaker
Projected winner: UNC Spread: UND +3 Over/under: 65 Typical score: UND 31 UNC 34
Actual: UND 48. UNC 38. Upset. I had a feeling about this one and had it on the upset watch.
I gave UND +3 for home field. Homecoming. Even with all the trouble that has been brewing at UND for the past couple years now coming to a head in Grand Forks, these are still 2 evenly matched teams. Neither stack up well with the top teams yet they have productive and balanced offenses.
What makes this exciting is the porous defenses sported by both teams. Neither of these offenses average what their defenses give up, which means, this is a wide open game between 2 decent offenses.
My advice: take UNC to cover and go over. Seeing total score in the 70's wouldn't surprise me a bit.
PS. Watch for the upset. A fired up team in front of a home crowd that may resent the fact marijuana wouldn't even be a legal problem in Colorado, just a team infraction of unknown importance.

FROM THE GAM for the week of October 7:
3-2 last week. 2 upsets blemished the score card. No tie breaker this week. 4-1 this week. 1 upset brings questions about iSUr. Another team fading? The tie breaker showed a close UNC win but it also indicated potential upset and UND did just that.
SUI 26 @ SDSU 29: Home field is the difference
Actual: SDSU 49 SUI 14. The Jacks aren't going away. Not only do they win they cover the spread easily and took the score far beyond the mythical over/under of 55. SUI was a powerhouse when The XDSUs joined the league. Dale Lennon ruined the team. They havent contended for anything since he was there.
NDSU 47 @ ISUb14
Actual: NDSU 52 ISUb 0. Played out. The Bison continue to roll. They cover the huge spread of -33 but keep it under the mythical 61
WIU 34 @ UNI 25: upset watch
Actual: WIU 38 UNI 25. It looked like UNI could do it but the couldn't. They had it UNI 25 WIU 27 in the 4th. Both teams looked good to me.
ISUr 40 @ NAz 17: Not surprised MVFC meets Big Sky.
Actual: upset NAz 37 ISUr 16. Well, I was surprised. ISUr may have had a bad day or they are exposed. Run game needs work.
and of course
YSU 25 @ USD 30
Actual: YSU 28 USD 31. Played out. Coyotes couldn’t cover the spread and the defenses kept the score under the pivitable 65. Great game moving the ‘Yotes up and YSU down.

The USD story has been bubbling under for a while It’s a team that has been building. It’s been recruiting, coaching and winning one step at a time. They have put the dagger in the heart of UND football, a program that has done the opposite. The off field problems this Spring, as much to blaim as injuries, led to UNDs collapse as a competitive team. NDSU has as many injuries as UND yet they remain in contention.
It’s no surprise what’s happening at USD. This is the most exciting football town in the country this weekend. It’s part of the Dakota Big 3: NDSU, SDSU and USD. These 3 schools rule the MVFC and maybe all of FCS. Saturday a huge rival to all of that will take the field at The Dakota Dome to help sort it all out.
It’s going to be a decisive game. YSU is a school that’s been playing at a national level for some time making this a statement game. This hurdle has to be jumped for USD to take the next step to a couple of championships: MVFC & The FCS national championship.
If this all holds together, and I don’t like looking ahead, the Dakota Big 3 are set to play a round robin of the biggest football games ever to be played in the Dakotas.
One game at a time GO YOTES,

I agree. Wait until the week of Nov. 18th The GAM shows a 33-27 win for USD if they were to play this week. It's a win so "forget about it" he said in his best mobster accent.

The home field advantage call on my part was conservative and based on the extraordinary 3rd down conversion rate of the Penguins. Changing it would affect the spread. -5 in this game is a lot.
These teams are well matched and well motivated. The reg season games dont get much bigger than this. If I see a Fabulous Fargo Dome atmosphere on Saturday I may start giving it more weight. Against a lessor opponent I would give it more consideration as well.
Having confidence in your home filed may help you make a better bet or better guess on the game. The official line is USD -6.
If you give the home field to the Cyotoes, based on the GAM, we have a USD -8. That clearly indicates a win and cover over the official line. It might indicate an over too but until the indicated Over/Unders start coming down a bit Im conservative there as well.
Your best guide is of course the Game Analyser Mechanism, or GAM. We like it because it gives you a leg up.

Here is the prediction and line on this weeks game.
Youngstown State University @ University of South Dakota
Kick Off 2PM CT at The Dakota Dome!
Here is this weeks line on The Big Game:
Projected winner: USD Coyotes Spread: USD -5 Over/under: 55 Typical score: USD 30 YSU 25
I gave no home field advantage to USD. I felt this is offset by, and I checked it twice, YSU 60% 3rd down conversion rate. That could cost the Coyotes a field goal.
Good defenses against the run but a thing for USD fans to think about is the 264 yrs/game given up in the air. This hasnt derailed the train yet, but things are tightening in the league. YSU probably wont be able to create a material difference with this stat because they give up 295 yds/game.
This is the biggest FCS game in the nation this week. Lots at stake here.
