The one spot of concern I do have is the DL. We lose a lot of snaps there and will be a big unknown in what I would consider to be one of our weakest groups overall this year. We only bring in a couple of DL in which is a tough position to make an immediate impact anyway. I think Burson, Holden, and Headlee will be guys we rely on heavily, but I do not see Nathan Schultz on the roster which is a huge bummer as he was a stud his freshmen year. Maybe I missed his departure in a different thread also. Anyways, a lot of unknowns there. Unfortunately, Nathan’s injury ended his career.

Just spotted on twitter, Phillip Powell and Levi Falck have decided to graduate transfer. Losing Falck hurts. Great possession WR.

I’m telling you, USD is going to have some absolutely terrific offensive skill kids next fall. Their WR group with a a healthy Case, Vander Esch, Bell, etc. is going to be so athletic and lights out. Good luck matching up with that group. RB is loaded with talent and the OL will be that much better. Hopefully, we have a QB that can distribute it, will lose the running ability there though. Agreed. Don’t forget getting a healthy Levi Falck back too. Our version of Adam Thielen.

Based on Pelini’s sideline reactions, we need extra security in the visitor locker room after the game. #stoplockerabuse

Up 56-14 with 13:00 to go and I’m disappointed. Not disappointed in the game, just in the fact that this is the team I had hoped we’d see every week. We knew it was there, but inconsistency and undisciplined plays have led to a lost season. If we can keep playing like this it’ll be fun to play spoiler for the rest of the year Agreed. When our yotes play like this, you start going through all the games we should of won. 11 turnovers vs UNI and SIU games. Blown games HBU and WIU. Should of, would of, could of...

The words escape me on the complete collapse of this team. Not sure what needs to be done to fix this disaster. Coaching? Toxic locker room? Effort? Inexcusable.

Gave up over 300 yards rushing to a second tier MVFC team. Also, 11 turnovers in the last two games. We have a long ways to go.

Despite several stupid mistakes that have frankly kept UNI in the game, we delivered in the first half. Take away two mental errors on the defense, and this unit is playing lights out again. This is our game for the taking. Eliminate mental errors and we will win this game.

It makes way too much sense to start Klett and use him inside the 10 at this point Would love to see/hear the media challenge the coach as to why we don’t use our 235 power back on 3 or 4th and short when he’s a proven hard runner. Perplexing and frustrating.

This is not the same team we saw in the first two weeks. Well done boys. Keep it up!

Keep it up defense. I’m becoming a believer based on your play the last three game. Really impressive DL and LB play.

I liked the offensive formula last week. Pound the defense with our running game (Ben Klett should be back) and it will open up our passing game. On defense, unleash Kline and Greenfield again. We do these two things, we win period.
