UC Davis takes the first drive all the way down the field and settles for a made 40 yard field goal. They got pretty big chunks of yardage on that drive and just missed connecting on a 29 yard TD pass. 3-0 UC Davis and now the Yotes get their shot. Based on the first series the Coyote offense better be on their game tonight.

The Yotes respond in a big way and answer with a long TD drive mainly through the air. The Big Sky TV video went down temporarily so the TD was missed but a Touchdown none the less. 7-3 Coyotes and now Davis will get another shot at it. Offensive game so far.

For those that don't know the internet broadcast is free and it's a pretty good video. Neither team scored on possession #2.

The Coyotes got a break but couldn't capitilize. The Yotes got a deflected interception at the Davis 40. 2 penalties later the Yotes go backwards and have to punt. The Red and White really had a chance for a big upper hand in the game but didn't take advantage. UC Davis starts deep in their own territory still down 7-3.

The Coyotes held and forced a punt. After a face mask by the Aggies the Coyotes will start around mid field.

Yotes take advantage of a short field and go down and have a rather easy 9 yard TD run by Bouma. The Coyotes took advantage like they needed to and now lead 14-3. Nice start to the game so far. This is the point in the game where the Yotes need to smell blood and increase this lead ASAP and put the Aggies in big trouble. If they show killer instinct they could go along ways towards winning the game in the first half. If they let momentum get away it could still be anyones game. The game could be at a tipping point right now.

The Coyotes get an INT in Davis territory and get a field goal. It's now 17-3 South Dakota. The Yotes were really looking over powering on offense so I wish they would have punched that in the end zone. I can't stress enough the importance of the Coyotes to absolutely keep their foot on the gas here. They have played very good football so far but we have seen other teams come from behind to defeat the Yotes before and we have a halftime of adjustment to get through as well. It would be great to get one more touchdown before half to take a 3 touchdown lead to the half.

Very small sample size, but the Yotes are looking as good as I've seen them look the past few seasons
