Someone translate. Does this mean that multi-year contracts are off the table and that the alcohol sales issue moves onto the next stage?

No one time suspension to allow multiyear contract, but Regents to instead work on a permanent fix.
Regents to support legislation allowing alcohol sales on campus. Legislation has not yet been voted on. Will be discussed at a committee hearing this Thursday.

What do you expect from a fan base that defended a wife beater? They demand that Herbster gets fired for not only putting USD in a better situation but doing something that will also benefit that other school. Unreal. They really are something. A Its says Yote53 is the administrator but yet he brings up a domestic problem at SDSU that is 10 years old. I think this board needs a new one. |

Yote53 is doing just fine Nidaros. Maybe you need to police your fellow wabbits regarding off the wall Meirerkort comments and implying our new coach is doing things unethically already in regards to recruiting.

Can dish it but can't take it. What I stated is a fact, the SDSU AD was investigated by police for simple assault on his wife. Ed Meierkort never had anything criminally brought against him, never had any NCAA sanctions brought against him, yet he was labeled shady and unethical.
SDSU people want to keep bringing up Ed, it's fair game to bring up your former AD.

Beat State, not your wife. I still have my "Beat State, Not Your Wife" shirt as that was during my tenure at USD. I beleive 2003 was the year it was made. I may have to bring it out of retirement for the USD/SDSU game in Brookings. |

Good to see some things never change. Four or five years ago when I quit visiting the bunny board it was due to comments from guys like Kemo. I always found his handle appropriate as he usually had a pretty toxic outlook when it came to anything USD. I was also curious how they could beat up on Ed so much considering he started his career as a GA for Dr. Fred at State if memory serves me correctly. Can we just put a nail in this coffin anyway? Man alive.

There are plenty of warning he gives out to SDSU posters as well. Follow the rules there and you'll be just fine (no smack in non-smack threads). I have my shirt as well yote14, but I think it may be a little tight now. I also do not go on the board anymore. They allow some of those guys to bash the U and when you make a snide remark usually accompanied by a good counter point you will get banned. It's not even worth it.

Every thread over there that involves USD ends up a smack thread yet your moderators do nothing but give warnings to USD fans. Maybe it's time we have the same standards over here for Jack fans?
