Hadn't heard that news. That will be a fun game to watch and would be an even bigger game to win.

I'd like to go to that game.  I got my "other" degree from ISU.  I would guess we get a few Clones fans to travel to that game, as well.  They have one of the best followings in the sport.

Maybe you could start a "2018-19 Schedule" thread?  I'm sure there will be announcements all through the Spring and Summer.

I have also “been told” that they will also be playing at Green Bay this coming year. And playing Missouri, but not sure if home or away the first year.

New article on Hannah Sjerven from the Yankton P&D.  I found this part interesting:

It was only by pure luck — and a coaching connection — that landed Sjerven on South Dakota’s radar.

The coach (Yvonne Sanchez) who had recruited Sjerven to New Mexico was fired in March 2016, and a New Mexico assistant coach (Mike Bradbury) contacted Plitzuweit with the suggestion that Sjerven — who was ranked by espnW as the No. 23 high school post player in her signing class — would perhaps better fit the Coyote system.

Bradbury had previously been the head coach at Wright State when Plitzuweit was the head coach at Northern Kentucky — both members of the Horizon League.

Sjerven, as she remembers, was immediately interested. USD was, in fact, the only school she visited.

“I wanted to come back to the Midwest,” she said.

She attended a WNIT game in Vermillion during the 2016-17 season and as she put it, “knew it was the right fit.”

That was the game against North Dakota at the SCSC.  So for those that attended that game, don't underestimate how you affect the program's reputation and recruiting.  You never know what recruits could be there, or watching on TV/stream.

Also this:

Coyote players have, however, said numerous times that the motion offense is a difficult system to pick up right away, and that’s where last season was crucial for Sjerven, she said.

“Coach P gives us a lot of freedom,” Sjerven said. “She trusts us to make reads, and that’s what made us successful last year.”

And now, any success the Coyotes have this season will undoubtedly feature Sjerven right in the middle of the action.

New Argus Leader article from Mick on the Yotes.  Not a lot of new quotes or information in there if you have listened to any of Coach P's recent interviews or pressers.  What's significant about this article is that it's in the Argus Leader, so the audience is a little more broad in the Sioux Falls market.
