Mazurek is going to red shirt for the year, and come back next year. Pep may be coming back very soon. There was a picture today in a Coyote WBB tweet that showed Pep in practice gear. Didn't know if she was just getting some conditioning in or what. If she does return, I'm sure she would be under a severe minutes restriction. It also would mean that she's decided to move on to grad school or career next season and if she is cleared to play this year, then why not? Sounds like she's very strong academically. |

Pep will likely be back playing in games next week and will likely not come back next year. Mazurek hasn't been cleared to my understanding even though she takes reps in practice. Stay tuned

That's great news (about Pep maybe getting back on the floor soon)! And, it comes from two VERY reliable sources that are close to the players. It will be great to see what we can accomplish with Guebs, Grace, Duffney and Pep on the floor at the same time! Duffney will be playing more in a (IMO) more natural position of a stretch-4 instead of a 5. Maybe next year we will see her play some wing? And Demers can then play more as a backup and understudy to Pep, which would benefit both her and the team.

Don't mean to rain on a parade, but my info is that Pep will not be returning this year. So I guess we will see.
