Looks like one more Mick's Minute article on the Yote women.  This one's on Hannah and her WNBA prospects:

State for tournament purposes is 69 since NCAA field this year was expanded to 68.

After we won the WNIT championship, I recall a certain reporter and many SDSU fans refer to us as the "65th Best Team in the Nation". I think it is only fair that we refer to state as the "69th Best Team in the Nation". I won't stoop to their level and ask the Argus to put that in print like Mr. Whitney did prior as USD fans have more class than that.

She remembers calling her parents at the beginning of workouts this season on a day when the team had made conditioning drills part of the practice. Afterward, she had good news.


“I felt like I was fast again,” the former hurdler said. “I told them I finally feel like I’m as fast as I was before I got hurt. It was a big moment for me.”

IDK, but I was hoping Mazurek would have been back by now.  I suppose that at a certain point in the season, either a player or the coaches would rather get that medical redshirt, even if they could get cleared to play now.

I think Carter W. often asks about injury updates in the pre-game interview with Kayla, so that would be a place to look.  The audio playback from recent games.  (if still available)

Haydon is the only one that may return. Last I heard Mazurek is taking a medical redshirt.

Mazurek is going to red shirt for the year, and come back next year. Pep may be coming back very soon.
