As an outsider I think if its a low scoring defensive battle I like BGSU if it's high scoring it favors USD I like the yotes 45-38

I don't know if anyone else cares about lines, they really just show the perception of the gambling population, but Bowling Green is now only favored by 3. The equally meaningless ESPN FPI gives us a 46.5% chance to win. I never thought I'd see the day where we matched up so favorably with a FBS school, even a 4-win MAC team. They would have us equally matched at a neutral site. That's awesome. This would barely be considered an upset - though a win would be massive. I've had my kool-aid. We are going to take a W to go with that paycheck today. I'm guessing we'll be around 16 in Monday's polls. When it comes to 2 divisions that are next to each other such as D2 vs FCS and FCS vs FBS there will always be some "bleeding into" when it comes to teams from each level being close in completition to one another. USF twice went up to Grand Forks and in 2 games in consecutive years the teams graded out even with each team getting 1 win. I remember multiple occasions where a D2 NCC team went to UNI and gave them a very good game. UND actually beat them. Generally I think the top 25 of FCS is going to be at least as good if not better then the bottom 25 of FBS. Not that it has to stop there but just because a program has more scholarships to provide doesn't mean they are a better program then the lower scholarship team. I think it would be fair to say that NDSU and SDSU would probably be favored at Bowling Green and if BG has to travel to a MVFC team I would venture to guess that 7 or 8 MVFC In today's game USD is close to a top 25 FCS team. Bowling Green is obviously a bottom half FBS team so naturally the Coyotes will come in with a punchers chance at worst. |

Chris Streveler has plenty of reasons to be "excited" for his senior season. Many of them play wide receiver. I caught up with him at the team hotel Friday to get his thoughts on that and Bowling Green. Here's what he had to say: Let's go Strev! Anyone else notice how big Jay's arms are getting! Someone check to see if he has any eligibility left? Haha. Sadly, I think my clock has run out. Not sure you'd want to add a former college goalkeeper to the team anyway. |

BG Announcers just said we might have a major upset on our hands. Why does everyone think it would be a major upset? Now that the Coyotes have the lead have they figured out in the off season how to hold that lead.
Yotes 21-3 after 1st quarter.
