Thanks Coyotes for a very good season and a special thanks to the seniors!!! Great job hanging in there the 2nd half with a very good SH team that has the longest win streak at home in FCS at 19 and never has lost a playoff game at home. And this Coyote team pushed them to the limit the 2nd half despite all the injuries on D!! By the way that "assisting the RB" penalty was totally wrong. I looked it up--you have to be pulling on the RB and our lineman was trying to get a tackler off him--should have been a TD.
The future for Coyote FB is very bright!! Already can't wait till next season!! GO YOTES!!!

TBSD absence was noticeable. Watched the PC and shame on me for not noticing Powell was out injured today as well. So down 3 defensive starters from lastbweek then had to play top offense in nation...and had a chance to win. Viewed through 'what we know now', that was a helluva performance by the Yotes. Sucks losing though.

Great game yesterday by both teams. It was a tale of two halves. The top two offenses in the country lived up to the hype. Playoffs is all about survive and advance. Kats will have a tough one next week with Kennesaw St coming to Huntsville, but I will take our chances at home.
Coyote future is bright. BTW, does S. Dakota have an up and coming QB waiting in the wings?

Very proud of the fight both our teams, basketball and football, showed in the 2nd half yesterday. Hell, the football team was in position to possibly win that game. Big aiding a runner and facemask penalties cost us 2 TDs. Being down as many starters as we were on defense it's no wonder they looked a little different than they did at the beginning of the year. Lots of fun to watch this year. Future looks bright, despite the big losses.

Excited for the future like everyone else, but hate to see Streveler go. The play yesterday when he was hit from behind and thought he fumbled and chased the ball down 25 yards downfield is the only play you need to see this guy make and all you need to know about him. He was getting drilled basically every time he dropped back, especially in the first half, and still stood in there for every throw. Loved watching this guy play. Going to miss him.

A lot to be proud about in Coyotes FB 2017.
The Yotes fought through a lot to make it a game in the 4th qtr. We witnessed the 2 best QBs in FCS in a fascinating playoff game.
How about the performance of Coyote seniors Streveler, Van Roekel, even Alonge Brooks taking over an entire TD drive. Nice way to end careers for which Coyote fans are very appreciative! To all of our seniors, thank you, you have built a strong foundation for continued success.
Proud to be a Yotes fan!!

The hospitality was over the top and the food was outstanding. I hope we can reciprocate someday. As for the QB situation, obviously losing a player of Streveler's capability will be missed, but we do have someone with big time potential who's been waiting for his turn. Other MVFC teams are predicting, or hoping, we fall off a cliff next season...they will be sadly mistaken.

Glad you were able to experience a little tailgating time with some Katfans. The Sam Houston crowds are mystery and I don't understand to this day why they are so fairweather. As a long time season ticket holder like myself, it is very frustrating to see a program that has had so much success since 2011 and to have the poor attendance during playoffs like yesterday.
I thought it was interesting to hear that the Coyote OC spent some time visiting Huntsville and working with Coach Keeler when Phil Longo was OC at SHSU. Now I know why the offenses looked so similar. Longo is now OC at Ole Miss.

Enjoyed those that made the trip to Huntsvegas yesterday. Good folks at the tailgate. You guys are welcome anytime. Damn good game, just as expected. My Blood Pressure doesn’t like it, but i’d rather watch that then a 10-7 game. Good luck in the offseason recruiting and next season.
