Last year there was no way we were going into the Fargodome on senior day and after they just lost the Marker game and winning. The score reflected that. If memory serves this was also the week following our secondary scandal. Lots of things not working our way that day. Incorrect. The first game post suspensions was the SIU game because the incident happened the day after the loss at Illinois state.

I am going to assume this is from a USD-NDSU game, but I never would have guessed if I didn't find the video here.

Good catch Yotes! That is my recollection too and the video supports that assumption! Made me sick at the time but have to give credit when due for a great play!

Over in the lot by the MUC? Lot's of room. You guys will have a good time and the walk isn't far. I'll head over there for some beer and some shots. Bring a few of you back with me and you can hang out with us. It's going to be a good time.

I think lakes has a point, if he is referring to the practice fields directly north and east of the Tailgate Nation lot. The soccer team has a new grass practice field to the east of their turf game field, right? And the football team is having a brand-new turf outdoor practice field built, so why can't we utilize that grass area for tailgating? It's a lot closer to the existing tailgating. Just a thought.

There's a new practice field to the North, a new apartment complex in the grass field to the West and, as wet as it's been I'm sure they're concerned about the grass areas. Even the student tailgate is back on the pavement. We need to get the person that owns the land South of the tennis courts to sell for a reasonable amount. Also...the library looks like it's a mile away but, in reality it's only a couple blocks.

With the tailgating rigs the Bison bring in they need to be on pavement. The next closest lot would be the Wellness Center lot and they aren't going to use that because it is not big enough and it will be actively used by people using the Wellness Center that day. The Ed School lot is actually perfect because it is big and there isn't much parking activity there on a Saturday, so it can easily shut down. I'm actually envious of Bison fans because they are getting to tailgate near the heart of the campus and will have the chance to take a walk around campus and see all the new buildings, Old Main, etc. and it's only about a 2 block walk to the Dome.

Maybe when/if they ever buy that private lot (or use eminent domain), the concrete parking and tailgating can be expanded. Might have to move the tennis courts out, but I doubt they would object to new courts somewhere. That would be the ideal setup, I think. The grass lot south of the SCSC would be another great place for parking expansion, but I think there are long-term plans for a second Coyote Village there, unless I am mistaken.
