High of 20 on Saturday... Kind of hard to cramp up in 20 degree weather, but if we get momentum going it'll be a cramp or a one play injury.
I know this season has been disappointing, but a win Saturday would be momentum for next year and an awesome way to send the seniors out.

The Yotes should be playing with a "nothing to lose" attitude, which can be dangerous for the opposition. There is no doubt that USD has the talent to compete for a W this week. The young guys need to play like veterans, which many have, and become future leaders for the program.
This will undoubtedly be the coldest football game ever played for the majority of the USD players (likely for the players at the Agriculture College as well). Hopefully, the weather is not too much of a distraction for our guys.

First State-U game I won't be attending since they resumed. If I had my way I'd be there, but I won't miss freezing my ass off on their bleachers again.
I see snow in the forecast. Will the classless boors throw snow and ice at the team again?

I always read the opponents message board during the week of our game and one their big areas of concern is how our players are a bunch of cheap shot artists who are going to be focusing on injuring their players during the game. Just incredible how pathetic some of those people are. Clean up your own house first, please.

This season went in reverse of what i expected, with us being worse and them being better than I predicted. Go Yotes! So they are basically the Hawkeyes of South Dakota? I realize that that makes us the Cyclones, but I am fine with that analogy. It's actually quite fitting, with the way the Hawkeyes think they are entitled to all the attention in the state, despite the lack of football championships. Obnoxious fans are another parallel. We really need to start beating the Jacks in football once in a while, to complete the analogy. Especially in the Dome games. I'd be fine with dominating basketball, as well. With our current coaching staffs for all of the "big three" I think we will get there. |

Interesting part was it was one of their cross-over posters who comes over here sometimes to post who started all that talk, you know him, the poster who got his law degree from USD. Pretty pathetic. |
