Here is a big stat:
USD opponents score 1.26 points for every Coyote point. That's the margin of losing.
Jack opponents score .48 points for every Jack point. A margin of winning.
The Jacks have had some Alabama like winning margins yet they don't bring much more if any to the game than the Coyotes, especially if the Coyote running game delivers in short yardage.
The Coyotes can't allow 441 yds. If you think they will you are conceding a starting edge of about 35-0 SDSU. That's where the 5Dimes spread finds its' guidance.
SDSU scores all the time. They have very few fruitless possessions. Either stay with them or slow them down.
All things being equal here are a few things or any combination of things the Yotes have to do to overcome a 16 point GAM spread:
In no particular order watch for these unfolding game events for the Yote win:
This game is a lot closer than it looks. If they play at the level they are playing it's only 16 points. The gap between how they have been playing and having a great game represents 16 points. All they need is to come together and lots of guys have a great game instead of just a couple guys.
If you are a wagering Coyote fan any more than 16 points makes the bet more and more tempting (it's 20 this morning). The SDSU money is scared.
The even money bet is a little better than 2:1 SDSU (USD +700 SDSU -1500). Over under is 72.5. The over thinks the Coyotes are going to stay with them.
I'm taking the under, the points and watching the list for signs of the victory.

In no particular order watch for these unfolding game events for the Yote win:
- If USD can keep the Jacks under 300 yards the chances of a 1 point thrill of victory are high.
- Trade TDs for FG 4 times to tie.
- Turnovers. Get 2, convert for 7, win by 1 with a FG.
