Wow, I guess the open scholarship isn’t being held for a transfer (like I thought) after all! This would be a big get.

Ashton Judd 5'-11" wing 2022 West Plains HS, West Plains, MO (south-central Missouri, near MSU) club: Missouri Phenom
Ashton's D-1 offer list, per that article and per twitter (all in 2021):
May -Colorado State NDSU June - July - U St Louis Kansas City Providence Illinois State UC Davis Montana Aug - Wichita State Belmont Sep - Oct - Nov - USD
Although the Yotes didn't offer until now, I'm guessing our coaches had made contact back in July, since she retweeted a couple of Coyote WBB tweets back then about USC playing at the Pentagon. She has also tweeted stuff about Colorado State and Illinois State. Right now we are probably the best team on her offer list. The above article mentions she wants to make her decision before her BB season starts, so I'd guess it's pretty soon.
Seems like a prototype player for Dawn. A tall and versatile "stretch-4" that can play all over the court. If she commits to the Yotes we will have stolen one right out of Missouri State's backyard. Their class was already full, with 5 commits.

I've noticed a pattern of WBB recruits tweeting their USD offers with photos from their recruiting visits. I bet Dawn is one of those coaches that doesn't extend an official "commitable" offer until she gets to interact with recruits in-person on campus. I'm sure we've been expressing our desire for her to be Yote for a while now.

Looks like the Coyotes are getting a good one. I have a good feeling about this one.

It could be big or it could not be. McDonald's All-American nominations aren't really all that special in and of themselves. Any coach, AD or principal can nominate anybody they want and presto, you're an All-American nominee.

Fair enough. I guess we’ll find out when she gets here!
In other news, Ashton Judd still hasn’t committed anywhere. I wonder if she is waiting for an offer from MSU or Missouri? Belmont, Colorado State and Illinois State seem to all still be in the mix. Will be interesting to see what happens there.

MSU has already signed 4 in the class with 2 of them same size and position. Missouri was planning on signing only 1 and got a Top 100 recruit at the same position. It will be interesting. She would fit this team well!!!

She would fit this team well!!! Yeah, she appears to be the featured scorer on a team in a competitive classification in Missouri. Prototype inside/outside tall wing player for Dawn's offense. Would appear to be a big get. We're the best team on her offer list, but the geography is a challenge. Belmont is pretty close. A recent game: (she is almost always the leading scorer)
