This season has been a major disappointment for all of us here. That said, we can't change the past 11 weeks. However, this week can give us a lot of momentum heading into the off-season. A win this week gives us something to build off of in recruiting, gets the damn monkey off our backs finally, and helps us send some very deserving seniors out with a win.
I don't care what your opinion has been on this team during the season. I don't care about what you think our depth looks like or how many SD kids are playing. I don't care what you think about staff changes and contracts and everything else that has been discussed over the course of the last several weeks. WE NEED BUTTS IN SEATS THIS SATURDAY!!! Get your tail to Vermillion this weekend and support the Yotes!
If you have any allegiance to this program whatsoever, do everything in your power to get to the game. The players need us. Damnit, we need each other! Let's pack the Dome and show our pride for this program and University. We can bitch and moan about the state of our program for the next 8 months, but this week needs to be about doing everything we can do as a fan base to beat the damn bunnies.

I sincerely hope the team that showed up for Indiana State and Youngstown shows up this Saturday. If they do, and I really don't see why they wouldn't, we'll be treated to a great game.

Sorry but i would rather see fans choose to support volleyball or mens and womens basketball if they had to choose. If football will not play with their best effort every week why should we as fans put in our best effort. I am still waiting for the program to give its fans reason to be excited.

Each of the three other times this game has been at the Dome we were the overmatched team on paper that managed to let the game slip through our fingers. I'm sick of seeing these guys luck out and leave the Dome unscathed. I hope our defense can put together a respectable effort while Simmons goes out with a bang.
This is a "throw away the stats" kind of game and I always think we should win at home. Let's end the season on a high note and give this team something to build on in the offseason.

How about for school pride? Like it or not, Coyote Football is kind of like my kids. I'm proud of them, they can piss me off at times, I can get angry with them, but in the end they are my kids so I love them unconditionally. So I support Coyote Football even though I am upset and angry with the way things have gone. Besides, Saturday is supposed to about 45 degrees with a light wind, it's going to be a beautiful day for hanging outside and partying with my Coyote friends. Last chance to tailgate until next year. I plan on having a good time regardless of the scoreboard. |

It may be 45 degrees or so outside, but it be warm - I dare say hot in the Dome. So hot that quite possibly a few State players will once again "cramp up" at certain crucial points in the game when respite is needed.
If there aren't at least 4 "cramp outs" (aka time outs) by State players during the game I will surely be disappointed. I mean, the closer the game, the more cramping outs there will be.

Is it right that their top QB and RB are both out this week? I know Gibbs went out in the NDSU game, but Strong is a stud. That would be a big loss or them. If so, we might have a little more hope in at least slowing their offense down.
Bottom line for sure is we need to win the turnover battle. If we give the ball away like we did against UNI and SIU it will get ugly quick.
Hopefully Simmons saves his best game for last.

SDSU's allotment of tickets will be on sale back to the general public tomorrow at 2pm sharp. Call the ticket office or purchase online to keep the blue out.
