Big Sky AD’s have recommended spring schedule. 2020 fall football is TOAST Where were you able to see this? I've looked at the Big Sky Twitter and Web Site and haven't seen anything like this. I went to the Idaho Vandals official Web Site because of the press reports about them not wanting to play and see nothing about this.

It won't happen in spring either, not unless we change our mindset that this virus is just another part of our lives going forward. A vaccine has not been developed and, even when one is, will not eradicate it. Fauci is on record saying this virus will not be eradicated. It will be no different than an annual flu vaccine that is at best 50% effective and people continue to contract, and die from, the flu every year.
At some point we're going to come to the realization that this virus is just another thing in the long list of things that can kill people and that we just have to go on living our lives. Sorry if that offends some people but it's time to face reality.

I’m sure everyone saw that the MVFC will be announcing that it’s moving to the spring. Left an opening to play 3 non-conference games in the fall with the ability to play in the spring. Chances are that the spring may not happen either, so why not play the 3 non-con games (get your pay day) and still retain eligibility for the kids if the spring doesn’t happen. They’ve already been practicing so keep it going and get something out of it.

Sorry if that offends some people but it's time to face reality. There is certainly an amount of truth in what you have written. However, with a new reality, we will probably adopt new priorities. It appears that there is intent to keep as many of the students in town as much as possible by eliminating holidays. The other side of that coin might be to severely limit or eliminate reasons for non-students to enter the campus. That could mean no spectator sports until we get a handle on this thing. The newly refurbished Dome might wait a long time to see any action. Sorry if that offends some people, but it may be time to face reality.

Aren't we just talking about flipping Spring Ball with Fall Ball? The players are used to playing in the spring - it will be the fans who need to adjust. (I suppose you could say the players play year-round, so they are the most flexible of when games are played.) SDSU can play a game or two in the Dome early in the season if needed - adapt and move forward. Get the seniors their final year of FB.

The schedule might need to be written such that the first two or three weeks are all played indoors or in the southernmost schools in the conference.

Iowa State's game with UNLV is moved to 2030 so it's between Ball State and the Coyotes as to who will play ISU. Iowa State is ranked 25th in the USA preseason poll.

To piggy back off my previous post, probably the biggest reason to play 3 games in the fall from a coaching perspective, is get your new quarterback game reps in the fall so that when you hit your conference schedule he’s not a new starter anymore.

If administration blesses it, as do the players AND the Big 12 can play a non conference game in the fall, I like our chances.

I think the SEC & Big 12 are going to play. ACC may follow. Not as sure Big 10 & Pac 12 will play. We may get that Iowa State paycheck yet.
