Very impressed with Krull's fearless play as a freshmen making her first start against the #1 team. whenever you get a good team on the ropes, it always seems like it comes down to surviving the third qtr....Krull will be a very good player. |

Ouch! 3rd Q was a killer! USC leads 68-48. Here's some stats just from the 3rd:
South Carolina shot 70.6% from the field for 31 points!
South Calolina outrebounded the Yotes 12-3!
personal fouls: 4 SC, 7 USD.
Lamb and Korngable in foul trouble with 4 each.

The Jacks are beating #15 Iowa State by 9 points in the 3rd. I plan to re-watch the end of that on ESPN3 to see Coach Fennelly whining about the refs. LOL

that was a helluva first half for the Yotes, a warning shot accross the bow, unfortunately, USC took heed. If the Yotes even shot 33% from 3 pt land,which they typically are, USC defense??, it coulda been a much tighter game for much longer...but it is what it is, good fight closing some in 4th

Yotes clawed back within 10 now with less than a minute left. Ugofsky channels Arens with a charge draw!

Lotta positives from that one it seems to me. Played with the No. 1 team in the country for three quarters, Sjerven outplayed an All-American, Korngable looked good and the youngsters look to be ready to go. Good start.

81-71 final. Looks like the Rabbits beat the #15 Cyclones 76-69. No let-up from either SD team. It's gonna be another three epic battles.
We were 2-16 from the arc. we hit 3 more and we are right in that game.
We were 11-20 from the stripe. we hit 4 more and we win it.
(Coach P said in the postgame that we had good looks, but for some reason just weren't hitting them. Same with Free Throws)
