UND is sitting in the catbird seat now. Not crazy to think they win the conference. The Big Sky is going to love seeing that.

Will be interesting to see how UND does playing their next 3 games on the road after playing their first 3 at home.

You can tell it's not a real season when teams can decide they are just going to stop playing for reasons that would otherwise never hold water.

That certainly isn't a good look. This was the team squawking about Missouri State postponing?

That certainly isn't a good look. This was the team squawking about Missouri State postponing? That what ISU does is talk. This the same school that fired Porter Moser. ISU has all the facilities to be special in everything plus a lot of really good athletes that come out of that area.

This the same school that fired Porter Moser Had to look it up, but tell me he was successful at Illinois State, especially if they've invested as much as you imply. The path to success isn't a straight line. That's beside the point. Illinois State is a perennial player in the MVFC. To act otherwise is foolish.

Since 2015 they have had one year when they were better than .500 in conference. They have State Farm headquarters right down the road with many Alumni who work there so plenty of resources.

I know I've really been banging on the football team's performance, but that's not really about the Ws & Ls, it's about in the WAY we are losing, just getting manhandled on the LOS. Earlier I was saying this spring season is an exhibition and not to be taken seriously. Well, here is more proof of that. Teams are now just shutting it down midway through.

For those of you who remember that a football season is allegedly ongoing, here is the playoff bracket: www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/2021-04-18/2020-ncaa-fcs-championship-field-announcedThere are three different 3-win teams competing in the 16 team field. Six different teams went undefeated, so I'm sure the seeding is fantastic. One team played 11 games (about double the amount of games that 11/16 teams played). Missouri State got in at 5-4. Not sure how you get an at-large when you've lost as many, or more, games as some teams even played. Apparently Montana rebooted their spring football and smashed their opponents to finish 2-0. Why aren't they in the field? Nothing to see here people. Business as usual.

So I guess the Jacks beat the Bison this weekend. First, I was not even aware there was a game Saturday. Second, nobody cares about this fake spring season. Third, this entire thing has been a joke. Congrats to the teams in the playoff field? You all have fun with that.

If the Coyotes basketball seasons count and the volleyball season counts than the FCS playoffs count as well. Can't have it both ways. Covid is what it is but the good teams thrive in it and the weak crumble. I do agree that the selections might have been a little off the wall but it is that way every year. So the Jacks are the #1 seed and if they make it to Texas or win the title it absolutely WILL count as much as USD fans may want to think differently or try to ignore it. Instead of turning the head the other way to SDSU football maybe it is finally time to do something about it on the Coyotes end instead of the ignorance to it. The Jacks have a good program and it is good every year. I am not gonna play favorites on this one (meaning lowering the value of the covid seasons) because it belittles the student athletes that have to play through all the challenges.
If the Coyotes won the national title this year in football and the Jacks fans tried to say it didn't really count I think we would be pretty critical of them for saying that.

Preach on preacher man! This season was different and sloppy, but it was not fake. Somehow most of the best programs made it work, while most of the weaker programs struggled and quit. Go figure. I hope our program learned some lessons from it all.
