Good start. We go up 2 scores, but then let them pick up a chunk play on 3rd and 10 then find a touchdown 2 plays later. Seemed uncharacteristic of this defense. Need to dial up pressure on obvious passing downs, especially with a true freshman QB

Use all 3 timeouts with 13 and a half minutes left in the second quarter. What are the communication problems?

I like Ike Mansaray so I’m curious to see how he does. My guess is he’ll get quite a few carries. Yup. I think he’s doing pretty well… Dude is like a manta-ray… Ok, not a great nickname but he clearly needs one. Anyone got a better one?

41-7 at the half. Holy crap.
Ya think some of the fan angst in the Spring was unfounded? Keep the foot on the pedal, Yotes!

Wow. Talk about an efficient first half. I don't really have anything to cirque about anything. OK maybe using all 3 timeouts right away lol. But crap they looked solid in that half.
Cal Poly is a bad team apparently, but man did we look good.
On another note, I'm getting a kick out of the color commentary guy that clearly played OL for Cal Poly at some point. He's trying so hard to find something positive to say.

41-7 at half. This is the perfect example of what happens when things are going well and the team decides to not change a damn thing the whole half instead of going conservative. That is just about as good of a half as a team can play. Whoever is calling the offense is doing a damn good job of mixing things up. The Cal Poly defense has no idea what the Coyotes are doing. That is a credit to the Coyotes for being unpredictable and being aggressive throughout. The defense has been good but they haven't had to be great, just pretty darn good. I can't remember back to back performances like this since the Coyotes were 6-0 during the playoff year. The Yotes don't have to do anything other than sustain what they have been doing for the last 6 quarters.

This game obviously has me 😃. What I find most encouraging actually is the fact we are giving a bad team a beat down on the road. Not just squeaking by them. Good teams leave no doubt, and that’s what we’re doing. Do we still need to see how they fare against the MVFC? Sure. But we’re doing all we can do right now.
Gotta clean up some of these late subs and delay of game penalties. Can’t be beating yourself in conference play. 3 games in, shouldn’t still be happening.

Man it feels awesome to go on the road and take care of business in a game we were supposed to win. No let down or playing down to the competition. In my day, the Windsor would have been flowing in the back of the bus, but it's tougher on a plane lol. Enjoy it tonight, get some rest and get ready to work this week. The real season starts Saturday night.

Great job by the Yotes taking control of the game early and never allowing CP any glimmer of hope after their first touchdown!! All 3 phases were great and was good to see all the versatility we have especially with our RBs, WRs and QBs!
Now need to recover and get ready for a tough Missouri State team!
