I liked the Sitting Bull but obviously too controversial too. Same unfortunately would be true of Lewis and Clark. So the question is what? Seems everything is controversial to 10 people or less. So Teddy Roosevelt wouldn't work despite obvious ND connection and Mt Rushmore.
Agree we need one. Always said bunnies and Yotes should have Mt Rushmore trophy!!

nccyote: great synopsis of what needs to happen for our offense to be effective and give Camp a chance to shine. I can tell you definitely understand what you’re seeing and the intricacies. I’d add that last year they played a 3 man front defensively and were slanting their defensive front on every play and overload blitzing away from the slant. Caused a ton of confusion to our OL and we ended up cutting defensive player loose in the run game and pass protection. I’m sure it was done to make our OL think and have bodies flying around Camp in pass situations. I’ll be interested to see if they come back with a similar philosophy this year. We are running out of bigger personnel this year and that adds gaps to the run game. I do hope we come back to getting the ball on the perimeter a little because off tackle runs will be hard to come by consistently vs UND. We are way more balanced this fall, so that’s exciting. Biggest part of the equation is get your best players multiple touches in a variety of ways!!
AND, most important, tackle well, play tough, hard nosed defense!! UND is extremely difficult to defend offensively because they are so multiple formationally, schematically, and unpredictable with trick plays (reverses, flea flickers, double passes, etc.). Should be a great game and a true test of what level we are at now

We are due for a big win. I think normally bringing in a team like this would be in upset territory, but we are so much better than our record shows. Saturday is either going to be a statement victory or a letdown for me.

Apparently USD opens as -9. Actually opened at USD -6.5 and it’s up to -9. I love my Yotes, but I'm staying the hell away from that action. Wow.

Didn't we have a poster a while back who would put a bunch of data and stats into a program that produced the spreads, o/u, etc?

We are due for a big win. I think normally bringing in a team like this would be in upset territory, but we are so much better than our record shows. Saturday is either going to be a statement victory or a letdown for me. I think the Coyotes have won all the games they have deserved to win and lost the games that they deserved to lose. I think the Coyotes have the record they deserve. You could argue the KU game but the Coyotes certainly weren't ALOT better than the Jayhawks that day. The Coyotes have generally not produced wins in games that are close in the 4th quarter so that is based more on a trend than pure luck. So when the Coyotes are in a tight game late it is more expected that they will lose that game than win it. It is not based on my opinion but rather the teams tendency. This is something that needs to be corrected one way or another if the program is going to take another step up. I have a feeling that the UND game will likely be close and decided in the 4th quarter. If that is the case can the Coyotes find a way.

Didn't we have a poster a while back who would put a bunch of data and stats into a program that produced the spreads, o/u, etc? Kind of. He had a model but would also manually adjust the results every time to meet his expectations for the game, which defeats the entire purpose of a model.
