I stand by atrocious. I saw a clip and Bell literally ran a route and stopped. No hands up pushing anyone. Nothing but run, stop, and turn back towards LOS.

If there was offensive pass interference, why did we get penalized 15 yards? There is no penalty that garners 15 yards besides personal fouls and DPI.

F*** THE SIOUX. I hate state more than most, but UND is right up there for least likeable programs in the conference. Chippy players, classless fans and a location that's more suitable for a prison work camp than a college. Get out of Verm and don't come back as far as I'm concerned. Go watch your hockey game and send the football team back to the big sky.

I noticed some penalties that the coyotes got away with as well but nobody talks about those. There was a pass interference I thought on the coyotes when UND was throwing it to the end zone. I thought the coyote player was all over the helmet of the UND receiver but that was not called.
What an overall impressive win by the Yotes especially the way that they took it to the Hawks at the end of the game. The run by tice where he hurdled over the Hawks defender was awesome. I personally don't care if the coyotes run the ball or if they pass the ball I just like to see them do what works and the coyotes did what work today and that is the bottom line. Sometimes it was by passing sometimes it was by running especially running from the spread formation. I think the time of possession advantage of the coyotes had really paid dividends toward the end of the game and allowed their offensive line to overpower North Dakota to allow the USD running backs the room to slam the door shut. Did anyone hear the post game comments from Nielsen. He got a little emotional as this game meant a lot to him.

Great game, great team win, well prepared….. no fans. Not even close to half full. Embarrassing!

When the fans get spread out over a larger area the attendance is going to look smaller. Kind of an inevitable thing with the expansion of the dome. The further covid is in the rear view mirror the better. The program also need to get more dependable as far as winning to get more as well. Today's game will help.

Boy that game sure looked a lot different than the one we watched back in March. Just completely flipped the running game on both sides of the ball. Yesterday USD had 4.1 yards per carry and UND had 2.6. Last time around we had 3.9 to their 6.2. And how great was it to just kill the last 6 minutes of the game by pounding Theis? Everyone in the building knew what was coming and they couldn't do anything to stop it.
Camp sure seemed to have a lot more poise. Stayed in the pocket longer, made plenty of throws downfield, and all this coming against what was probably the most pressure he has faced all year. Looked like he grew up a bit really quickly.
In the shadow of our Missouri State meltdown I said we just had to win on D Days and take care of business against UND and we would have the season back on track. We now go to UNI for another opportunity to show this team belongs in the playoffs. We will have all the momentum in the world if we come away with a win.

Game turned out as it should have. USD looked like the bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic team out there and proved it on the field. The players made some great athletic catches, ran the ball hard, tackled well, and our lines controlled the LOS. Exclamation point at the end where we ran the ball right down their throat to seal the win.
UND looked small on the lines, which surprised me, and like a very average football team. I believe this is their first real season in the Valley (sorry, that spring season doesn't count). They are in for an awakening as to what the Valley grind is really like.

I agree with everything said here. I would add two things. First, have you looked at the kids playing and how young we actually are? I’m blown away by this. Obviously we have some big holes to fill with our LB’s next year but that’s ok. Secondly, the level of confidence they are playing with is a total 180 from spring and 2019. I also am of the belief there’s some real leadership in those younger classes. Not afraid to speak up. We have gone from a team of INDIVIDUALS to a OVERALL TEAM. I said earlier in the week leading up to the game that I felt we needed to have balance in our offense. I would’ve liked to see 375-400 yards offense and be about a 50/50 split between running and throwing. Total offenses was 368 and split 51/49. With a really solid defense that’s going to win more games than not. Lastly, there are people that continuously find faults and errors. Someone please make a post other than me that lets people know it’s a game. No one plays perfectly. Mistakes are made. That’s football ( and basketball and volleyball and any other team sport ). Our defense will keep us in every game we play I feel. Their confidence level is rising and for good reason.

Traveled to the Dome from Rapid City with two grandkids and son in law sat on the West side.
Renovation turned out great!!!
Very solid team win!! Only two negatives were the officials and the blocked punt.
Team just needs to continue to work hard and not take any game for granted!!
Go Yotes!!!

Extremely impressive win!! Absolutely love the way the defensive front is playing and the use of multiple fronts and line stunts to free up the linebackers. Defense is playing confident and fast! A lot of timely plays to squash drives.
The offense did exactly what was needed to win that game. Control the clock with the run game (love the patience by the offensive coordinator to run, run, run). Theis had a HUGE game vs a very solid defense. The run plan was absolutely excellent, UND must have some major tendencies with LB alignment because we were checking runs away from their pressure all day. In the passing game, we took what they were giving us by throwing to the outside vs soft coverage and the one TD throw to Elidor was a terrifically designed shot play vs Cover 3. Beautiful game, strap it up vs a very good UNI team next Saturday.

Camp did a great job on the Elidor TD of faking to the right which appeared to move the safety just enough to make that seam pass wide open.

This game could prove to be exactly what we needed going into the buzz saw ahead. Get a win at UNI, which is doable, and this team will have tons of momentum on their side. Im curious where, and even if, USD cracks the fcs top 25. Obviously we belong there, but maybe it’d be better they didn’t rank us? I’d love to see us ranked but right now we’re playing with something to prove. And another snub could help light an even bigger fire under the team the remaining games.
