Coyotes at home this coming Saturday!! Every fan that's been to a Coyote home game needs to bring a friend (or more) and get loud!! This team deserves your support!!! Was at ND game. Sure wish I didn't live 350 miles away and have to ref a soccer tournament!

I just bought 4 extra tickets with the idea that I'll convince people to go to the game.

Illinois State is good, but barely. They are 0-3 in the conference. They have scored only 37 points and given up 96 in conference play. They are basically ripe for a good old fashioned butt kicking if the Coyotes keep the trend going up. Wait maybe the Red Birds are not good. LOL.
I am going Yotes 41-10. If the Coyotes win this one they will travel to Macomb with a chance to secure a 5th conference win and 7th overall. That has typically been enough to almost always get a MVFC team into the playoffs. It is not a guarantee but a likelihood.
The Coyotes need to stay humble and stay hungry.

Looking at results around the FCS, I'm going to guess we jump to 15th in the polls. We will likely be sitting as the highest ranked 2-loss team (unless Missouri State stays ahead of us...it could be close). There are some 1-loss teams that didn't play an FBS foe however.
It's fun to see a number next to our name. I want that to stick around.

Can't wait for Saturday, the Dome should be rocking. I've been disappointed in the crowds we've had so far, so hopefully people on the fence about coming to a game have climbed over and want to see this team live in action. Been to every home game, but I haven't had a chance to tailgate yet this year, so I'm looking forward to that also. Bring the defense and the running game and I think we win convincingly.
I believe It's also Military appreciation day, so if you have any friends who are veterans, bring them down. I'm pretty sure all vets get 2 free tickets while supplies last.
It's a great day to be a Coyote!

All veterans and active Military Members can claim two free tickets here (http://yote.us/3p0jZC0) or at the door on gameday.

Surprising given that they opened the year with a win over a top 25 Washington team.

This is a huge game once again and we are radio silent. We are in an unusual role and that’s being a favorite. How do we react to being the favored team?
I’m really excited for Saturday.

Illinois State has a lot of motivation too. They jumped out to a big lead in the spring then folded. Add to that Carson playing high school ball so close should be interesting.

They are not coming to Vermillion to lay down. Should we win? Yes. Can we lose? Of course.
One game at a time. Don’t get the big head. Take care of business and put this away by late 3rd quarter. If it’s tight till the end…just win.

Absolutely. We know that Illinois St likes to play tough D and grind games out. We just have to keep playing our game and stay composed. They’ll be desperate and we must stay hungry.
