With all due respect Jay, can you stop distracting Bob? He needs to stay locked in a room with his offensive staff until they figure things out. (Joking)

Guys, it is really not that hard of an equation to build a game plan offensively based on what is on the opponents previous films and then focal point it on getting your best players in positions to be the first option in touching the ball on that specific play. Does it guarantee that "said player" will actually get the ball? NO, but you cannot just randomly call plays just to call plays for no rime or reason. Breaking down film and building tendencies during Sundays and Mondays is the easiest part of calling the game. The hard part is making in-game adjustments to what the defense has planned for that week and understanding and seeing it in full speed and how it affects your initial plan. It really looks to me that we are just calling plays to call plays and have not thought out who we would like to target on those specific plays by formation. It is truly sad that we have an All MVFC player that has only touched the ball 7 times in 6 games for 8 yards a catch. Love to see the ball spread to a couple of other WRs, but who has the ability to influence a game the most? There is a reason why league coaches made that choice after last season.
As we move forward, not this year but next year, I truly feel the OC needs to be in the box with the best view in the house. See and call the game without the emotions and distractions on the sideline. It looks to me like Coach Nielsen gets plays in late or just calls random runs/passes because he doesn't know what to call so he goes to what is simple or easy to remember. I swear we ran the same run concept at least 15-20 times out of the same formation last week. Can't do that! And please don't get me started on the passing game or lack of.

At this point I think it would benefit Bob to move up to the booth so he can focus on the offensive play calling. It's not crazy, been done before. Hugh Freeze had a wall taken out so they could wheel him in his hospital bed into the booth so he could call plays.

There are a lot of people in the parking lots. Sure hope they all come into the game and cheer loud.

Camp's time in Vermillion may be done if Bouman plays well. Seems like a good dude from afar but his confidence must be shot. Will be interesting to watch. That's why you sign a competent backup.

Totally different team after the three minute mark in the first half. Good thing we saved it until game 7.
