I'm truly happy for a D-Days victory. Let's be honest an address the real reason for our mediocre play. It's our uniforms, plain and simple. We look like a high school team, or maybe a NAIA school. Bring back the the red helmets with the U on both sides, and the gray( real Coyote colors) with the red and white stripes for our pants.

Great win. Team really responded after the change. I think Camp has all the tools and is a good QB but right now he's just in a tough place with indecision and processing the game. He'll work through it. Sometimes it just takes a reset and a little time.
Let's remember these are all young men who are out there doing their best for the U.

The kid has tons of tools and has proven he can play at a fairly high level but he is stuck in a rut right now and it seems like the game is moving too fast. I would like nothing more than to see him succeed because he carries himself the right way and it hurts me as a fan (and a person on general) to see it happen to a player we all had high hopes for. The change was no doubt to the team's benefit today. In the end it seems we have multiple guys right now who can play the position if given the opportunity. It has been a few years since we could say that our current situation is not a bad one. Hopefully he can get his swagger back. Anyone who has played sports of any kind can understand and appreciate what he is going through. My golf game is like that about every other round and it is maddening. |

I've been watching fb for over 50 years and rarely have I ever seen the whole complexion of a game change as dramatically when an untested qb at the college level comes in. Team energy was ignited too!
If you haven't read his bio check it out. Very successful hs career, 3-4 star recruit, dad played qb at St Cloud State and was on 4 NFL teams, so I don't think his success was a fluke.
Great job Yotes for your impressive D Day win!!! Keep rolling!!

For quite a while I've been calling for Bouman, and now that I've seen him I'm wondering what the hell took so long. It's damn near a fireble offense that it took as long as it did. If Bouman isn't starting next game then Bob needs to be relieved of his duties immediately. With that being said I'm sure Bouman will be starting, coaches always act like no decisions have been made in this situation.

Love this kids VIBE and the way he carries himself and most important, so did his teammates. No panic and just balled. Doesn't see ghosts and stood tall and confident in the pocket with all the bullets flying around him. Key was he was decisive and ball came out on time, which helps your OL. Very impressive debut, but it's what's next that matters.
On top of all that, the defense played lights out in the 2nd half, especially the DBs and LBs vs some top notch WRs. Very impressive, minus the unnecessary penalties.
