If I am the coaching staff, I jump on the Knuth kid ASAP. Especially after seeing our backup QBs behind Bouman practice last week. We absolutely need a talented addition to that position with some college exposure under their belt in case of injury.

I'm actually feeling pretty good our QB room at this point. Rumors from Lincoln were that he should have been QB2 last year but the OC wouldn't give him his shot over "his guys". |

We absolutely need a quality backup QB so this is a good get. The end of spring scrimmage showed that big time.

Can't believe I missed this clip on Bouman. A very nice piece on where he is at after spring ball and going into the summer workouts. Some very key things in the piece that are exciting to hear and build on and things we gained after the QB change last year, are that he processes the game fast and is able to stay alive in the pocket without panic and delivering the ball. After watching the spring game, it was very obvious that he has some nice ability and a really solid connection with #14 Carter Bell which is much needed after last year.

I love the way this kid processes the game and gets the ball in the hands of the playmakers. When he came in the game last year it was an instant change and the offense started moving.
Now another year and with a really good OC, I'm thinking good thoughts.

Lovett participated in 3 games, but none in the past 6 weeks. 2 catches for 32 yards. Never heard of the other 3 guys and they aren't listed on the roster.
