What happened to Todd Drummond? I saw someone say on Facebook that he is going to just attend Oklahoma State as a regular student. That’s all I know. Thanks for giving this a look.
Yeah, Todd Drummond transferred out and is no longer playing football. I believe he is going to Oklahoma State (online) and living back home on the family ranch.

This is old, old news. Todd Drummond has been gone from the team for a long time.

Connor Morgan, the defensive tackle that transferred in from Cornell has left the team for personal reasons. He’s not, at this point, transferring anywhere else. Other than that, our roster is secure.
If everyone lives up to their billing and ability, and assuming the injury bug doesn’t unjustly pick on USD, we have a roster that is pretty stinking good.

Ok, thanks for the info.
100% agree! Expectations and hype are much higher this year due to said roster.

Yeah, we feel like we have had a couple years in a row here where we haven’t had a flood of guys in the portal after the season. Nate Thomas was the only big loss to the portal, but the RB room is extremely deep. That has allowed more development time and depth to build, which has been desperately needed for years.
Wisconsin, SDSU, and NDSU are all very tough games. Win the rest and you are at 9-3…but that’s no guarantee either. Sure be nice to actually defend the dome against NDSU and all others for a change. YSU has always been a tough trip for USD, and it’s their homecoming this year. Although I am pretty sure we beat NDSU on homecoming last year, so 🤷♂️.
