I was describing recent movements by some players to a brother who doesn't really follow college sports closely, and it felt like I was describing free agency in pro sports.

Assuming this isn’t because of some extenuating circumstance,, and assuming it was his decision, why leave? You have seem the field, you’ve been in the program, and now you have 2 seniors in Roane and Webb graduating and a lot of playing time becoming available, and you leave. He states engineering major. Perhaps that comes into play? Headed to Colorado School of Mines, so definitely appears it’s actually about his education. Actually kind of refreshing and wish him well. |

Yea definitely free agency. Also too many great FCS players will leave for big FBS and not succeed Ndsu has about 3-4 of those last 2 years that didn’t play much at FBS |

Interesting. Thats going to put us at 7 QBs on the roster unless there’s some unpublicized outbound transfers. We must really not like not having a clear QB2.

We must really not like not having a clear QB2. 7 on the roster, but how many of those are actually on scholarship? We definitely need to solidify a backup QB, so this move makes sense from my perspective. I doubt all 7 end up on the roster by the time fall rolls around. |
