Green Bay Press-Gazette has her as the first of five names for potential hires, however points out that money issues may make it unlikely.

The administration made a commitment to an inexperienced coach who quite frankly who not have been able to get any other head coaching jobs at the time. It would be terrible for Coach K to leave after given two years of on job training. I am hoping she stays and learns to develop a team and program. This is the price we paid for hiring a coach with little experience but my thoughts would have been that she was planning on being around.
The administration will never hire a male. Look at our athletic department as we have very few female head coaches. Besides if we were able to hire a male it seems like Coach Jeschke would have been a logical choice after coach P left. The newspapers know very little on the process but hoping Coach K wants to stay here and put her stamp on a program.

Well they only paid him 185,000 in 2022 if they want her they need to add a lot of cash

Just saw an article saying Karius is expected to be named the new head coach at UWGB. Not an official announcement, but it looks likely. Here we go again.

Glad we could provide two years of on the job training about being a HC. Was never a fan, but realize she had to basically start fresh. But she never fit the DH profile of HC hire with experience of winning at a lower level. If we are getting Thiesse, absolutely love that swap for USD! Bring it on. Might lose Jewett, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get the Augie job either based solely on using my ass-ometer.
