I would have been fine with Jewett but Eighmey has a strong resume. I'd be fine with her keeping Jewett on staff if she and he both want that. I do not want administration dictating who she hires as assistant coaches.This should always be the case. It would be demeaning and undermining for an administration to impose such a thing. If the coach comes to that conclusion on their own then that is fine. |

I was in Jewett’s corner mainly because I didnt know who the other applicants were and I liked what I saw of him both at SDSU and here. I don’t know much about Carrie except she was one of the candidates when Kayla got the job. I feel extremely bad for Idaho. We thought it was bad losing a HC after two years this is a one year turn around for them late in the game. She had some nice looking transfers coming in. Will be interesting to see if she pulls any along. I believe her husband has been her assistant coach at her last two stops but I haven’t verified that. Here’s hoping it all works out for longer than two years. Yes her husband has been on the bench at UNK and Idaho for sure. I'll start a new thread. |

I'm glad this embarrassing online saga is done. Welcome Coach Eighmey. I think you are making this into something it wasn't. There were a few posts that went all soap opera but mostly it was fans who care offering two cents. |

Green Bay is currently losing to Kansas State 59-12 in the third quarter of Karius' debut. Ouch. 2nd half was more competitive but I imagine by that point K state started playing with lineups. It’ll be interesting to see how there first season plays out. |
