Is the spread really at -39.5? Anyone know what the biggest spread for USD is in the D1 era? I fully expect the Yotes to cover, but as a gambler, I'm not going anywhere near a 39.5 pt spread.

I really hope we light up the score board, but I can see this being a bit of a snoozer like St. Thomas last season.

I really hope we light up the score board, but I can see this being a bit of a snoozer like St. Thomas last season. Move the ball, score, make it a quick game. My ideal situation would be have a first half with 4 or 5 TDs, no punting or turnovers, and a shutout. Sit the starters the second half and let the young guys go beat up on em a little bit. |

Not a ton of surprises as we have a very veteran team. It looks like Gary Bryant and Nate Ewell won the LB competition. I wonder if Teven McKelvey will slide out to NB or come off for one of the second string DBs. Speaking of, we knew Mikey Munn had elite speed, but to already be tied for second string safety as a true freshman is very impressive. |

I think we were 41 point underdogs against Minnesota. Or did you mean biggest spread where we are favored? I might be a sadist, because Houston Baptist is one that comes to mind. |

I can’t find it now, but I thought it was rich hearing the “why don’t you support the team” preaching from someone from Aberdeen. For as long as I lived in Aberdeen, no one gave 2 craps about northern football. |

I think we’ll start hot and score at least 28 in the first half, but once the backups start playing all bets are off. I’ll have zero faith in our backup QBs until one proves me wrong. I also think NSU could burn us on a couple trick plays. |
