I must be the only one that didn't care for the uniforms. Numbers were too hard to read and I guess I just like our traditional red and white...you know, our school colors.

What are you guys talking about??? Those uniforms were awesome and looked great on social media and better in person. Need to get out of the 70s & 80's.

I liked the uniforms, but had to go to social media to see what was on the helmets. I'm not that terribly far from the field either.

Personally, I like being stuck in the 70s and 80s. Maybe you shouldn't be swayed by "influencers" on instatweet or whatever it's called these days.  |

I am resistant to messing with our identity, and was incredibly skeptical when I saw we were going to do all black uniforms. I think it worked out almost perfectly. My one complaint is that they used the new secondary logo for the the helmets (if you were close enough to kind of make out what that deep shade of red was on the black helmet). That logo is terrible. The uniforms were so well done. Bring that back again sometime. Maybe in a night playoff game? |

I'm a minimalist, I could go with the SD logo (helmet - FB; shorts - BB) and South Dakota with the number in the middle and I'd be fine (Red & White).
However, loved the Black uniforms, helmets and song selection, wish I could have been there!
The new logo is growing on me, and I have to say it looks best on black, and pretty salty on grey.
We have a good selection of logos to choose from, some schools should be working towards 1 good logo...IMHO

The new logo is growing on me, and I have to say it looks best on black, and pretty salty on grey. It may grow on you, but it will be unrecognizable to anyone unfamiliar with it. I watch way too much college football. This logo can be confused with many teams. |
