I have a feeling that the Coyotes will come out passing in the game. Ed came out and flat out said that the blame is on him last week for not having the team prepared. Not my words, it came right from him. I think he is going to be ultra agressive on offense early. The Yotes need to use the speed they have on offense. They need to create mismatches with the speed and just simply get the studs the ball in space.

I understand the OL finally made a personell change, but it was to late in the game to get in sync. I saw this coming 4 weeks ago. Like I said before, our guys are good to awesome, but their fundamentals and technique have fallen of drastically. This is the same line that allowed Warren to carve up Minnesota last year. When they do the little things, big things happen. Both QBs have been running for their lives this year. We've won this year inspite of ourselves just because we are flat out the better team.
I really believe this team should be 6 and 1 -- 5 and 2 at worst.
Wes was promoted too far and too fast. Ed needs to take charge of the offense and get/accept more insight into the little things his position coaches are telling him. I know Trip is new to working with the interior line, but I'm sure he has said things are not right. He'll probably be the scapegoat.
Fundamentals, technique, and attention to detail will right the ship this weekend.

What change (s) were made on the OL. There was only 1 that I think needs to be made so I hope it was that one.

Fundamentals, technique, and attention to detail will right the ship this weekend. I think that is a key to not only this weekend, but this year and over the past several years as well. I agree that USD has the players to match up against practically everyone in FCS. It's the little things that get ignored and end up getting compounded that turns into the big issue.

I think it is reasonable that you guys are a 10 point favorite. I would like to see the game close going into the 4th quarter. If so, watch out. BTW, can any of you comment on the quality of your video streaming?

Go Coyotes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

just to break the monotony and give my Davis bias:
UCD 23 USD 17
i looked into my Magic 8-ball and saw: our kicker come out of his semi-slump for 3 FG's. we run the ball decent and keep us out of 3rd and long, so we can move the ball effectively. we keep your running game from piling up big numbers and force you to throw more than you want. Aggies pull of the rare back-to-back Dakota Dome upsets.
or, we lose. one of the other. last two games were nail-biters, no reason not to think the 3rd one will be different.

I think this one will go to USD, but it will be close. 24-20 USD. Offense continues to stall until Ed and the gang, especially Ed, realizes that it's not just the perimeter, but an intermediate passing game. I heard him talk about how they need to attack the perimeter more...ummm midrange is what they need more.

I am going with
UC-Davis 14 South Dakota 27
I think Ed is probably feeling some personal accountability for last week and will want to come out agressive on offense this week.
I see some big plays from the USD offense this week but also maybe a couple of picks. I really believe that the Coyote defense will be very obstructive to the Aggies today. I see about 5-6 total turnovers in the game.

I think USD mid 30 UCD upper teens. How's that for commitment? My suspicion is that USD will try and put up big numbers early then run the ball late. At least I hope we're able to accomplish both!
