www.goyotes.com/sports/m-footbl/sched/sdak-m-footbl-sched.htmlThe official schedule for 2015 has been released on the Coyote website. The thing that stands out to me is why does the league make USD end their season on the road every year. I don't think they have given USD a home game to end since they were in the league.

Yeah, that's all 4 years now that we will have ended on the road. You would think this would usually alternate.

We end at home in '16 and '17, but yeah it would seem to make sense to alternate.

Could also just control our own destiny and end at home by earning a play-off game this season. Too soon to be that optimistic? =)

I'm just really glad to be playing FCS level schools and not NAIA to fill out the schedule! Especially a school that in the region and that we have some history with.

Yotes, Maybe I was thinking more along the lines of ending at home before heading to Frisco, Texas.

Agree, I am pleased to see us with no NAIA opponents in the future. I like the Drake game. Should be a fun game that results in a win. In the future I would like to see Montana on the schedule again. That was a fun day at the Dome even though we lost. UND on future schedules should be fun too.

I like good football as much as the next guy but with how tough our conference schedule is I hope we do not schedule perenial powerhouses for the non conf like we have the past few years. At least until we can gain some traction in the W column.
I would love a non conf UND game for the next 5 years or so. Good call Yote53.

I believe Drake is a home and home. We will be going to Des Moines in the future... You appear to be correct: link

I don't really have a problem with that. It will be fun to head down to Des Moines for a game at Drake Stadium. Haven't been in that place since my freshman year, a long, long time ago. Plan on hitting up Woody's Smoke Shack near campus for some great BBQ.
We have future games set up with UND, 2016 in Grand Forks, 2017 in Vermillion. I'd like to see that series continued and made a permanent annual game. Of course that might not work for UND who want to schedule and annual game with the Bison, so there wouldn't be room for us. Maybe go 2 years on and 2 years off? Regional FCS OOC game against a historical rival who will be a quality opponent year in and year out. Only makes sense to me. 8 conference games, UND, FBS game, and one other FCS game. It would make for some easy scheduling to only have to schedule an FBS and an FCS home and home for each season.

Just looked at UND's future schedules, in 2015 they got the Bison, 2016&2017 USD, and 2018 Mo State. I have a feeling that 2017 will be the last time we play UND in the regular season for a long time. It would just be so much simpler if they would get invited to the Valley. That can't happen soon enough IMO.

It would be great if UND could be in the MVFC. I hate that the mascot issue is what prevents these things from happening now. I agree with eliminating racist mascots and team names. There is no place for it anymore. But is the fighting sioux really racist? If so as a man thats part Irish I demand the NCAA forces Notre Dame to change their Fighting Irish name. When I see that leprechaun on the sidelines I am so offended. Get over it. I wish the MVFC would invite the Fighting Sioux to the conference.
Now the Washington Redskins. That has to go IMO. It's amazing what money can do in fighting this battle. A clearly racist name is ongoing and one that is not is ruining a university.
