There's an SDSU fan who watched that game and deduced that the Jacks' inside players can "own" Sjerven and Frederick. That's the kind of delusion that can only come from a guy watching the game in a MAGA hat. I'm all for the State fans wearing MAGA hats to the SLT, it would be an improvement over bunny blue. Of course, Coyote Red would be better yet!

About that jug, I say we send our OL and DL up north and bring it back home. Doesn't look like there's anything in Brookings that would stop them.
Just maybe do it before tax season.

It's been a down year, but there were a few games where you saw some pretty good football. The Yotes just won a game against a ranked team by winning in the trenches, on both sides of the ball, that was impressive!
Happy for the seniors, they deserve this!

Any more word on Simpson's health? Also, Matt Johns, is he healthy? I haven't kept up with all the roster news, but do look forward to seeing this team in action!

A ranked MVFC team on the road, this is a 'JUST WIN' game.
A 10-9 win, a 3 OT win, heck I'd even take a 53-52 win, JUST WIN!
OGAAT
I like the way the Yotes are playing, the OL and DL are improving game by game. Having a running game with Simmons, makes him that much more difficult to defend. Go Yotes!

The 6 that we're familiar with are pretty solid, and plenty of experience.
If we get decent contributions from 7-9, this will be a special team. Looks like we have some candidates in Johns, Chisom, Jovic and the Aussies. Other than Johns, the rest I'm not familiar with, but look forward to seeing them next month!

DBs are the new area of concern for me, and yes, losing your best CB, didn’t help.
OL was shaky early, but better as the game went on. I think will be better than last year, we’ll see. It looks like the potential is there.
Completely shut down their run game, with that QB that’s a positive development.
3 for 13 on third and 4th downs, compared to 11-17 from the Griz. If we were closer to 50% here, might’ve actually pulled this one out.

Augustana hasn't even formally announced a transition, is not ready yet, and it will be years before they complete the transition. They are not the answer to the Summit's baseball issue, and honestly, shouldn't even be invited into the conference. USD and UND just need to restart baseball. Problem solved. I agree, but I know it's more complicated than that. What would the process be for USD to add baseball, if it's even possible?

Huge win for USD softball today. Knocked of #1 seed NDSU 10-1 in 5 innings! On to the finals! Mercy!

Glad Umude realized he has an excellent situation in Verm. Imagine how much better he can get under Lee's staff. Absolutely. I think Lee seems to be very development-oriented, and Umude will have every opportunity to both get better, and to showcase his skills in this conference. That news just made my day. Matt Mooney spent most of his NCAA career at USD. I know this is Texas Tech and the Big 12's moment, and Matt is legitimately a P5 caliber player, but it's OK for Coyote fans, and the Summit League for that matter, to be proud of his accomplishments.

I always enjoy watching Mooney play. He's a talented offensive player, but he always seems to bring added value on the defensive side. I'm not sure of his stats this year, but he always seems to have a hand in the passing lanes or just outright steals. I wish him the best in the Final Four, and wherever life takes him!
