I know we have another game tomorrow, but I thought I'd post this due to the fact that it is a near-sellout...
All the reserved seating is sold out. There are still some General Admission tickets available (sections 109 and 110 on the end). The fact that this is a double-header probably lost the University some money. Last year the Women drew 4K and the men drew 5K for their rivalry games, respectively.
I'd say the lost revenue is still worth it to get the place sold out for the first time. The atmosphere will be great in there, I'm sure.

Hopefully there will be enough blue present for raising the decibels! Are the sections 109 & 110 on the ends normally student seating? How much walk up crowd to fill? It should be much more fun than the Dome.

It should be much more fun than the Dome. The opposite side 102 & 103 are the student sections, but I have seen them sit in the GA 109 & 110 as well.

It should be much more fun than the Dome. 109 and 110 are both on the west end, and are always general admission. The students and band are on the east end. Sections 102 and 103, I think. It's possible they could open up some of that end to non-student general admission too, but I'd rather see it full of students.

Evening all....Got 2 GA seats and making the trip down with my 10 year old daughter. Looking forward to the games....I suspect your women will handle ours, and your men to keep it close, but fall.
Will be our first time in your place. Any suggestions?

Shes almost 10. I`m Not opposed to a sports bar, but perhaps a bbq joint would be best. Also name your best burger joint. We always like burgers!

As for the games, as alluded to earlier, SDSU always struggles in Vermillion. I think your women win by about 10. Men, same story, always a struggle. With Hags out and that Ttech guy gone, I havent followed you enough to know whos taken the reins, TBM? Either way, I expect to have to battle out a 3 point win.

Sorry, suggestions for eateries, etc. Is there a good bbq place in Verm? Café Brule downtown is always good and has a very eclectic menu. That would be my first choice. Bunyun's on the west side of town has great burgers and would probably be okay for a 10 year old. Red is also good if you want to shell out that kind of cash but then I just remembered it's not open on Sundays. There's also an Asian place on Main Street that's very good if you're into that sort of thing. The Roadhouse on Cherry when you come into town is decent also. Other than that it's mainly just chains, not child friendly or not very good.

My favorite burger in town is at the Main Street Pub. Tend to get the Jake Burger, which has a fried egg and hashbrowns on it.
Mister Smith's is an excellent place to get a sandwich. Expect to wait in line forever though with the crowd that will be in town.

I always thought Bunyans had the best burgers in Vermillion and is family friendly... Family friendly option include: Mexico Viejo (great authentic Mexican food) and Little Italy's (pizzas and pastas) as well. i would recommend getting there early. Parking will be limited with a sellout crowd.

I think you are being overly generous on the men's game. Our new offense has been inconsistent at best, yesterday's game notwithstanding, and I'm not sure we can keep up with your arc shooting from multiple players. Also, it pains me to say it, but with Hags out I don't know if we have enough of an answer to Daum. Just not a great match-up for us, I'm afraid. You could be right on the women's side, but I think a very close game is more likely. If the Jacks play tenacious defense like they did against Green Bay this will be an ugly game. Lots of fouls and low scoring. If they play defense like the Wyoming game, ... more like a track meet against Usain Bolt. There will be a lot of talent on the floor for all four teams, so I think we will be getting our money's worth of entertainment.

Thanks for the suggestions all. Leaning Bunyans, or possibly Little Italy's right now, we're suckers for Chicken alfredo.
usdtator mentioned parking...the parking map on the goyotes website appears geared towards football, but I'm guessing most applies to basketball parking as well (minus the grass lots I'd guess). Probably will end up in Lot 24 and hoof it across, though perhaps will be there early enough to get a little closer.
