I do hope they can keep Casey K on staff in hopes of keeping some roster players (such as Kutcher) happy.

For anyone that doesn't want to listen to that video, here's the transcript (just the USD part) Warp speed sounds good. Just make sure the contract is solid...

Would Peterson have to take a pay cut to come to USD?

Would Peterson have to take a pay cut to come to USD? No, he makes less than $100k at Utah. The USD job would would be a great enhancement, both on the resume and in the checkbook.

Public records show he made $218,856.25 in 2019 and $311,895.46 in 2020 at Utah State. Guessing he didn't take a pay cut to go to Utah. However, many first time coaches take pay cuts when moving from bigger programs. Didn't Craig Smith take a pay cut to go to USD?

I guess I don't know what I was looking at, but what I saw DID stun me by how low it was. Thanks for setting things straight.

Basically, he was betting on himself to succeed and then reap the benefits. It's safe to say that he won his bet.

I'm glad they handled it this quickly. Makes me feel better about the whole thing. Good chance he keeps Kasperbauer? Don't see why he wouldn't. Fingers crossed.
