Honestly, it is insane to me that any great athlete would ever commit to IPFW (or departed IUPUI). I don't even understand why they have athletics. It would be similar to University Center-Sioux Falls having a team. 6% of IPFW's students live on-campus - approximately 600 students. That sounds like the worst traditional college experience ever. Hmm...UCSF. Don't give Kelby any ideas. It does have a nice ring to it though, but people would just think it was the University of California at Sioux Falls. Let’s be real, they’d think it was the University of California at San Francisco

Here's our post game vids: (sorry about the source, the GoYotes YouTube site doesn't have these vids yet) Doesn't USD usually post this stuff after games?

I heard Joe say on the radio before that game that Trey could've been used in an emergency tonight, so maybe it isn't as bad as we think?

This program had never won a top 25 game until about two weeks ago. Wow! Does our own spot in the top 25 come this season? I think we will learn that in Puerto Rico. I think USD will be ranked in the top 25 this season. USD might have to win 2 more "tougher" games and then I think it would be a sure thing. You play Indiana tomorrow and you might get in after that game. You should be in for sure if you win both that game and the SDSU game on January 6th. I think those two games and the game in Brookings are the only ones you possible won't be heavily favored in. The game in Brookings is at the end of February so that game won't matter as far as you being ranked. There are some teams ranked just above you that will lose before then. #25) South Carolina- They play #23 Texas A&M (January 3rd), #4 Mis State (January 17th) and #18 Kentucky (January 31st). #23) Texas A&M- They play #25 South Carolina (January 3rd), #4 Miss State (February 17th) and #18 Kentucky (January 27th). #18 Kentucky- They play #6 Baylor (January 6th), #23 Texas A&M (January 27th) and #25 South Carolina (January 31st). #22 Michigan State- They play #16 Iowa (December 30th), #5 Maryland (January 17th) and #13 Minnesota (January 9th). I think the polls come out on Monday so the SDSU-USD game will be played before the new pols come out but I think you could get in over the loser of South Carolina and Texas A&M on January 3rd. You might be able to get in the week before that if #22 Michigan State loses to #16 Iowa. With all of these lower ranked team playing each other I don't see USD not getting in if they still have 1 loss by the end of January. I really think this year will be the year that both SDSU and USD get into the NCAA tournament. SDSU did stub their toe against Buffalo but their other loses were to #6 Baylor, #7 Oregon and #19 Marquette. They didn't show up for the Marquette game but the other games were really close games against top 7 teams (as of now) and Buffalo. I don't know how many people on the committee look at scores and schedules over just power 5 teams and non power 5 teams but they shouldn't miss that. If USD swept SDSU, SDSU could possibly be on the bubble. SDSU would be around 23-7. With SDSU's schedule, I think they will have played and beat other bubble teams (as long as it's not Buffalo). SDSU would have 6 of 7 losses to ranked teams because USD would be ranked. USD on the other hand only has one loss. They should only have one to 4 losses on the season (if they lost all 3 to SDSU- won't happen but that should be a worst case scenario). If SDSU won out, they would be ranked so three of USD's four loses would be to a ranked team. The Summit League has SDSU and USD that are better then the other teams. There could possible be a loss at UND or something like that but both teams should walk through the conference (like last year). If USD beats Indiana tomorrow there is no way in hell they aren't in the top 25 on Monday

Right now the link from the GoYotes.com schedule for live streaming takes you to a facebook site: www.facebook.com/disfrutatueventopr/The streaming audio will be from GoYotes.com, and I assume the same Thayer broadcast will be on the radio 106.3 The live stats are from the Sports Tours International site: sporttours.net/composite?d=2018-12-19Hopefully the stream won't be for an exorbitant fee, like the men's Bahamas games were. If it's on Facebook then it will be free

Maybe start a 2019 season thread and move some posts? Or just remove a certain helicopter parent from this board

This program had never won a top 25 game until about two weeks ago. Wow! Does our own spot in the top 25 come this season? I think we will learn that in Puerto Rico. Would depend on how the rest of the top 25 fared but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re ranked 24 or 25. If they can win all 3 in Puerto Rico, which will NOT be easy, they could be making Summit League history in terms of ranking. Anyone know off the top of their head how high SDSU has got in the top 25?

The FM msa is big but Sioux Falls is bigger or just about as big. Concordia, Minnesota State Moorhead and NDSU share the FM market But NDSU has the benefit of being IN Fargo... not being an hour away from the metro area

Current [and projected final] RPI of the non-con schedule: #6-[19] ----Drake(7-1)--------L#8-[50] ----Iowa State(6-----W#15-[22] --Indiana(8-0)------?#46-[70] --Green Bay(3-4)---W#71-[14] --Missouri(6-2)------?#73-[212] -Montana(2-3)--------W #93-[113] -LMU(5-2)----------?#156-[82] -Creighton(3-4)---W#218-[227] Wichita St(5-3)------W #261-[128] Missou St(1-5)---W#292-[196] Grambling (1-4)------? #298-[287] Incarn Word(0-9)----W Bold indicates likely post-season teams, based on RPI. Indiana, Drake and Missouri look like the likely NCAA teams, with possibly 5 more WNIT teams. Wichita State is a better team than this prediction shows, I think. This is based on RealTimeRPI.com. We need Creighton, Wichita St and Missouri St to start playing better. Omaha hung with Creighton last night in the first half before losing by 15

If you haven't had a chance to hear the Kennesaw State head coach talk about the SDSU game it’s worth a listen. The man is impressively well spoken: youtu.be/uq7E93n8ga4I could listen to that guy talk all day

From another fan. Mohnsen not having USD on his twitter seems to confirm it. He's been liking a lot of Buffalo Bulls related posts FWIW

Sorry, but South Dakota wbb dirtiest team I have ever seen. From the tipoff. grabbing, shoving, pushing, poking, blocking, thugging. unreal what they let happen...arm-barring and forearming every rebound they shoved an ISU player...they hustled but fouled the sh#t out of ISU They make Rutgers seem tame. Innocent looking Norwegian thuggery...
