Does Coach Smith usually bench players after they draw a tech foul (ie Mooney)? I have never paid attention to this before if he had done it in the past. I can't remember previous technicals to say, but guarantee that Mooney doesn't let this happen again. I know he had a technical in the home grinder against Denver last year. He was never pulled and he went on to have a huge game. I'm fairly certain he had a tech in another game last year, but can't remember which one. Whatever he said must have been pretty unsportsmanlike or Coach is just growing tired of the antics.

I am fairly certain that the actual butts in the seats was closer to 7 or 800 than to 2000 plus. section 116 is probably the most popular section and that struggles to get half full. I don't think the price is keeping people away. aren't tickets only 15.00. that is a bargain considering the quality of basketball and quality of facility. I can see not getting season tickets but for the majority of games there are very good seats available. Attendance of 2100 might be a bit of a stretch, but there were at least 1500 people there. To say that we had three times fewer than the ‘official’ attendance is ludacris. Maybe you went around and counted manually, but I would respectfully say the discrepancy between your numbers and the official is somewhere inbetween the the two. The crowds can be kind hard to gauge depending on how many are in the coyote club, too. I think part of the reason Frost looks like they have a better crowd even though they probably don’t is because it resembles a dingy barn. They dim the lights so you can’t see the upper half of the arena. The other thing to me is that Frost is 3/4 bench seating and that gives people more space to sprawl out so you don’t see a bunch of empty chair backs in return.

He is as smooth as a tall ice cold Old Milwaukee. Wow, if he can start making more FT’s he will be unstoppable. Amazing we are up 23 while Drake shoots a cool 55%. Simpson is starting to feel more confident shooting the mid range jumper and is pretty good at creating his own shot as he showed at Duke shooting over very tall defenders.

TBM has been wildly inconsistent this year. He lit these guys up last year in his Coyote debut. Hopefully he can stay out of foul trouble and use this game to start getting in a groove. It's great to finally see Fuller finding his role. If he keeps up his productivity I think we will have the most dynamic bench in the league as Armstrong has also come on as of late.

Does anyone know how big of a check we are getting for this game? I hope Krzyzewski still presents us with the game day check at half court (a la Ed McMahon) after the Dukies succumb to Sparkie and the boyz.
