Does anyone know how well we're doing with the NIL? I see links on the GoYotes site, just curious.
Also, regarding marketing I know there are professional sporting events that utilize an in-game 50/50 raffle for fans. It seems like a natural fit, for pre-game advertising, in-game scoreboard of how the pot is building, and a win for a lucky fan, and the program. I believe there are college programs that use the same. Is that being done at USD? I'm sorry I only get to a select few games in Vermillion. And also, I didn't go to Law school, so I'm not sure of the legality, just a thought.

I don't think the coaching staff will allow otherwise, but the Yotes need to focus on the Racers like they did the Bison.
I think it sets up well for a D-Days victory, but Murray State drew 13k fans for Indiana State and their 1st MVFC game, they will be motivated to prove they belong in the Valley. I also read a tidbit, that Indiana State and Murray State were the only 2 MVFC teams to schedule 2 FBS schools in 2023, so there's that in regards to their current W-L record.

Great win for the Yotes! Saw the 1st half live (MidcoSports+), had to wait to watch 2nd half replay, yesterday evening.
That was a statement game, the Yotes have gone from little to no national attention, to a bona fide contender. Now the hard work of maintaining this edge from week to week. The path is there.....GO Yotes!
It would be great to pack the house for D-days and YSU, the team deserves it. Loved the quick response marketing for Howling Pack membership, it takes all of us!

Sorry for the confusion, I realized I had answered a question that Yotes did not ask. That's why I did the strike-through.
I will let myself out now, carry on!

It is cool that additional Summit games will be on national television now, rather than just the tournament finals. But does this mean that to watch any other games that I will have to pay for another subscription? Midco SN isn't available in my area. Can't imagine ESPN+ is in the picture anymore. Midco Sports Plus app is available outside of their network coverage area. posted too quickly

I dont' think it's a bad thing that the former USD coaches are having continued success in their careers. We are building on a reputation for 'advancing coaching careers'. Years like this one past, are a bummer, but we've had a real good run in the process. It's also why next year is critical, to get back to the top of the conference!
If we get a great coach, who also wants to spend a decade or two in Vermillion, great. However, I'm happy with the alternative plan, it's worked, so far.

How good is Rohde? I hadn’t watched the Tommies. They’re gonna be salty. Rohde is very good. He had something like 8 points at halftime, ended with 24 or so, and the last 10 minutes they ran everything through him. His freshman counterpart is an athlete! Salty, yes. The Bison have a couple freshmen guards looking pretty good also. There is young talent in the league, if they all stay put.

7 footers are hard to find, but I think a 6'7" to 6'9" power forward type would help. That is no knock on D. Hayes, he's one of my favorite Coyotes. He and Tasos just need a little more relief. It's a lot to ask of a freshman who gets his red shirt pulled in the middle of the season, also.
And Mason should shoot more...
my 2 cents

That was a tough loss, it was there for the taking. I thought the guys did a great job of fighting through the one run the Jacks had in the 1st half.
Keep working and get ready for Sioux Falls, we can give some people fits in March, outside of ORU, of course.

Our offense has been very vanilla the last few years and I hope now will have a lot of motion, multiple looks, etc to keep defenses guessing which will be great!! Hopefully we can pu some more recruits and portal transfers in the next month and be ready to ROLL!! Curious what the changes will be for the offense. I'm hoping that we can find ways to use our RBs and OL to pound out the yards, and increase time of possession. I'm not that familiar with Coach Davis' time as OC, though it seems that the offense produced. Any insight from the FB experts?

Welcome to the flagship University of South Dakota, Coach Davis!
Painting Frisco RED would be a vast improvement from the past decade or so.
Congrats, and oh yeah, congrats for, apparently something you did on Sunday, so anyway welcome to Vermillion!

One thing that has been a positive all year is the depth of the team. It certainly seemed like it was an 'uninspiring group' at times during the Non-con. However, if they can build on a performance like this, that depth could cause some real trouble for some teams in the league.
There's still a lot of work to do, like reducing the TOs, keeping the defensive effort at a high level, but good progress today!

There is a virtue in finishing strong!
Congrats to our seniors, thanking you for your work and efforts, and best wishes for continued success!
Make a statement today, for the future, Go Yotes!
Putting a hurt on UNI would be nice, in and of itself.

Even though it was against the Coyotes, I really liked watching how MSU played defense. The aggressiveness (but not too physical), hands in passing lanes and dribbles, etc. - loved it. Wish we could run something like that, but it takes a commitment to a philosophy and a certain type of athlete. Yes, they were well-coached and had some real athletes, tall and strong. Nothing against our guys, but you can see the SEC vs. "mid major" difference, in quality and quantity. I think it is a positive experience though to match up against stronger competition, it should be motivating to coaches and players alike.
