Yeah I agree mostly from a money standpoint. USD might have had to get rid of swimming and diving in order to make the travel work, and that would've meant some Title IX issues as well. Now I don't think that would've happened, but maybe a possibility because cost of travel would've been so high.

I am not saying all UNI fans were embarrassed but I read their board and some of them were embarrassed that UNI had to travel and actually play a game in Vermillion. That is not my words just conveying what I read.

I love how it went from all fans to just some fans. I think they will get over it, plus you have a history of overstating things too.

Congratulations to the USD Coyotes and Fans. I am pretty confident that this is the best situation for you for the next few years. As we all know, because we have seen it since the xDSU's first made the transition, things can change in a hurry. But, I think that this will lend a good deal of stability to the conference homes of the universities in South Dakota. I won't be surprised to see NDSU and UND in the same conference some day, whether it be with us or in the Big Sky. Yes, I know that the NDSU fans will ridicule that statement, and that is okay with me. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of other teams change conferences from time to time, but life in the Summit and the MVFC should be pretty good for years to come.
Welcome, and let the rivalries resume, in a civil manner, of course.

Please CF, please listen to the doctor and get back on your meds! I am actually on those meds and happier then ever. I just don't condone the way USD disrespected alot of people to get what they wanted. It's taking the low road in my opinion. Many will not agree and that is fine, we all have our own opinions. I am not a conformist and will stick by my opinion even if 90% of those disagree with them. It's going to take me awhile to truley get over what USD did in the last day or so.

Coyote Fan,
Get over it and move on with life. How have you made it this far in life with that kind of attitude. Deal with it and move on. The Big Sky already has and Fullerton basically agreed with what USD did. UND did what was good for them and while Faison may have been disappointed, he has been disappointed with his own university and called it out but he has been a man and stayed there honestly.
Time to put on your big boy pants and get with the world Lakesbison, er, SocalledUSDFan

Go for it, or you could go for Mel Gibson as well. BTW you are totally sounding like Terry Vandrovec lol.
You hate SDSU so much that you don't want to play them and that has you so angry.

Here's a very level headed approach to the whole USD decision and how it plays out for the BSC and UND from Tom Miller of the Grand Forks Herald. gfsports.areavoices.com/2010/11/05/sorting-out-usd-swap/Huh, kind of disproves the theory from CF that this is a horrible, horrible decision for USD and that they pissed off so many people....this is what happens when you become a conspiracy theorist.

UND did what was good for them and while Faison may have been disappointed, he has been disappointed with his own university and called it out but he has been a man and stayed there honestly. I am not sure what you are talking about - please explain? In general, I think the Big Sky and UND are being gracious and understanding about decision. They understand that joining the the MVFC is whats best for USD. I do believe the Big Sky thought that UxDs were a pair and both UND and the Big Sky thought the decision had been made by USD to join the Big Sky and going to board and signing was just a formality. The P&D had quotes from Mr. Saylor about this on Monday. So, Mr. Abbott and Mr. Saylor can be hailed for its business savvy and doing its due diligence in South Dakota. I do believe a "trust" has been lost and the relationships between UND and USD will be very different going forward.... Again, personally I wish you the best of luck going forward. Here is a good video clip.. www.inkbarreltv.com/inkbarrelCMS/system/networks/sd_yankton_press/index.php?id=0_irj0q4im&channel=

#1 Coyote, Nice job on the logo. I was thinking we could add the Summit and MVFC logo to the main-page index as well. Is that possible?
