If you are looking back at the last six years than Ed stays because of the improvement of the program under him. Yes, these past couple of years have been tough, but aren't all transitions? You need him to look at the last two years, and you are bringing up stuff with the program that was evident last year basically, but yet you weren't critical until this year. I am just saying, that when you go negative, you go NEGATIVE.
Also, who would you bring it? Start naming some people that would be game for the job. I would like to hear who you think would be good for it.

Holy smokes this has gone on long enough. Ed shouldn't go anywhere. Granted, I am as disappointed as anyone about this season, but I guess I've come to accept that transition has its ups and downs. Honestly, it is not fair to believe this Yr3 transitional team should be able to beat consistently FCS schools that have been here for years. That is the reason we see up and down play from week to week because we are a young transitional team. To be fair, I think Ed needs at least the opportunity to coach through our first two playoff eligible years. After that we can evaluate just how well we are stacked against the MVFC.
Now, if you do think a coaching change should be made, exactly who do you bring in? What proven FCS coach wants to come to a transitional school? How long will it take any coach to recruit "their type" of players and how much further will that set the program back? Granted, the job looks much better now than it looked 2 weeks ago since we now have conference affiliation. Which reminds me, Ed has been out there recruiting without that bullet in his gun. You know, it's very well possible the recruiting will get even better now, and with Dome expansion even better, see where this is going?
I saw a lot of promise in the Cal Poly game. At times it was ugly, giving up big play on the triple option. At times it was beautiful, Jeremy Blount and Will Powell. Heck, I thought Chris Ganious had a pretty good game. I saw a lot of athleticism out there against a full FCS team and a program who a few short years ago took Wisconsin to OT.
Just give this topic a rest, it's way premature.
