Stupid thing to even be discussed.
Everybody's going to be looking for a D-I home game at this time of the year, but a potential home and home might be the way to go. Someone's schedule might be open for a home return in 2015, if they come to the dome for 2014.

Someone's schedule might be open for a home return in 2015, if they come to the dome for 2014. I'd prefer a team that isn't quite up to home and home caliber, but still D-1. Something like Colgate in 2012, or even a Pioneer team. Two playoff BSC teams and Oregon is enough competition in the non-conference, we need something to ensure we go at least 1-3 before conference play. |

maybe a 1-time deal like that year with Eastern Washington? Sometimes schools get really desperate to fill a game.

While NDSU has been the best team in FCS the last few years they lose alot from last year's team in a huge senior class and a good chunk of the coaching staff heading to Wyoming. No doubt they have brought in a lot of talent via recruiting but that is not the same Bison team that has won 3 straight. It will be interesting to see how their season develops. They have to come to the Dome, I wouldn't put that game in the L category just yet. NDSU does lose a great senior class but the team coming back in '14 is going to be very good. It all starts with defense and the Bison defense will be very good again. |

Of course there is. The tailgate area before the SDSU game was amazing; I wandered through there for a while.

You're welcome anytime to Vermillion and the University of South Dakota. But for you to think of rape and pillage, those days are gone. The gap has narrowed and I believe narrowed some more. Bring your fans down, we will party with them, then whatever happens....happens.
