It really is. This guy is notorious though, regularly banned on fan forums for going waaaay past the line of decency. At any rate, I think he'll be in for a rude awakening if he comes to see his Bison play next year. I really hope you're right Mr. 1 thru 8. I remain optimistic. Our tailgating is really something to be proud of, and to be quite honest, I feel t hat we are able to handle anyone in the Dome. Ideally our win over the Bison will end their win streak, but I doubt it lasts through our meeting in Vermillion.

I predict that the Bison will lose their first game at Iowa State. They probably will be able to get by that football powerhouse Incarnate Word for a win their first home game. What think you Bison fans???

NDSU will beat ISU. The Cyclones are a mess right now.

NDSU will beat ISU. The Cyclones are a mess right now. I disagree. Even a mess by FBS levels should beat a FCS team that loses about every starter.

1234678. Like kansas st ? colorado st? Minnesota twice? Kansas? Yea suuurrre I believed you guys could take down Kansas State, it's not like I'm blindly talking smack. There will be a drop off, any team that loses as much as you did will have drop off, not to mention the transition to a new head coach.

I'm pretty disappointed we filled our open date with William Penn. I wanted us to find another home game against some weak D-1 competition to tune up, but would've accepted a road game against anyone in D-1 over hosting an NAIA school. The playoff committee looks at your wins against D-1 competition, and ignores games against the lower divisions. Plus it's just not a game that interests anyone, I hate when we play these schools in any sport, but football is the worst since we have so few games to begin with. I thought we'd be on the edge of the playoffs if we found a weak D-1 team to host, but that non-game really hurt those chances.
We'll be much improved again, and maybe we'll catch a few breaks this year. We host the two toughest teams in the conference in UNI and NDSU, both easily being Top 10 teams in the FCS, and winning either of those games will really alert the entire MVFC that we are ready to hang with the best. I'm glad we host Illinois State and Northern Arizona, those two seem to be teams trending upward, but those games at Missouri State, Montana, SDSU, and Oregon are going to be very, very tough wins to get.
My guess for the season is 7-5 overall, 5-3 in MVFC play. We'll be dangerous, but that schedule is brutal. Too bad the playoff committee doesn't take SOS into consideration (which is just ass backwards if they actually cared about getting the most competitive playoff field).

William Penn? This has to be a joke. They need to work to buy out this game right now. Shouldn't have even signed the contract or released the schedule until something else was found. Completely unacceptable. Go get paid for a bodybag game. This game wasn't competitive a couple of years ago when we were D2, how is it going to be remotely close now? How could they have possibly thought the fan base would be accepting of this game? If it wasn't for NDSU on the schedule I would skip getting season tickets. I may still consider dropping them.

If you drop them I hope it's strictly in protest. The rest of the home slate is legit. NAU, UNI, NDSU, and Illinois State are very stiff competition, and we still have yet to be WIU (though that will change this year). An NAIA school was about the worst thing that could have been done with the open date though. I think I'd prefer watching our guys have a scrimmage over this. There's gotta be some team, somewhere in D-1 that will play us that day. Pay one of those SWAC teams that only schedules 10 games a year to come up here or something.
