The point is that you don't just fall backwards into a 12th FCS game. It is a challenge to get it set up. People were acting like DH and crew failed to do their job or weren't trying to fill the slot, which was ludicrous.

While NDSU has been the best team in FCS the last few years they lose alot from last year's team in a huge senior class and a good chunk of the coaching staff heading to Wyoming. No doubt they have brought in a lot of talent via recruiting but that is not the same Bison team that has won 3 straight. It will be interesting to see how their season develops. They have to come to the Dome, I wouldn't put that game in the L category just yet. We return more experienced players than probably any team, if Carson Wentz is as good as advertised we will be fine, our entire Lb core is back, 3 of the D back field, RB, Wr's, TE. You guys do not match up well with us for some reason 2010 - 38-16 2012 - 54-0 2013 - 42-0 and last year we rested alot, our second string is very underestimated people who did not pay close attention to us don't realize how deep we are. Can't wait for the season to see it play out

Maybe someone has already brought it up, but the team is going to travel to Oregon, play one of the best teams in the Country, and fly home. They will be exhausted both mentally and physically. I would rather see them be able to regroup at home against team they should outmatch. Give the top players a chance to heal and have some success in front of the home crowd. Teams like Drake are not push overs. I think Drake took Montana State deep into the 4th quarter a year or two ago. This group is still pretty young. Starting 0-2 might be pretty tough to recover from. Either way, there are positives and negatives to the schedule. Playing the Ducks on Pac 10 tv, at night, on opening day will be an experience these young men will never forget. It'll be nice to see them at home the next week. I expect a much better product this year.
