Well I just saw on Twitter that Glenville State just signed a recruit. I don’t think that is favorable of her leaving now.
Also heard rumor that UNK coach was in vermillion for an interview this week.

Northern Kentucky or Nebraska Kearney That's gotta be Kearney. Can't imagine the woman at N.Kentucky is in much demand in light of a pretty sub-par six-year run. Her online bio is one of the shortest I've ever seen for a head coach. Not much to spotlight in recent years.

I get what you’re saying, but this offer was likely out there before our interview process began and may have coincidentally been accepted at the same time their coach is interviewing for our job. They aren’t going to hold the tweet and make the signee not feel special. I would give this zero thought up or down

From a staff perspective, I wonder if he's part of a package. Sure seems like that arrangement would put pressure on a marriage, but credit to those who can make it work. I can't imagine that model exists much in D1. The second asst. is a young woman with brief ties to DWU.

Great research Kiyoat. If I was guessing no plane was needed because they probably had candidates drive to Omaha or maybe Minneapolis and met with them in a neutral location in order to protect their identity. I can imagine having Kayla and Carrie both drive to Omaha for an interview in order to keep it confidential.
I agree that the Glenville State coach was probably not a candidate. I think she is a great coach and would probably figure it out but has no ties to this area and never has been a d1 coach. Two obstacles to overcome. Coach P was not from this area but had head coaching experience and also recruited this area when she was at Michigan and Uw Green Bay. My guess is an announcement is coming quickly and will be Kayla or Carrie or a power5 assistant in this region. My initial thoughts is that it was Kearney’s coach’s job to lose. I really cannot think of any head coach outside this region who has ties to the Midwest and would want the job. Probably Colorado States assistant (Amber) received an interview but no head coaching experience. Stating the obvious there will be an adjustment period in this hire as we will be receiving a division 1 assistant with no head coaching experience or a division 2 coach with no division 1 experience. Both will work and both can be highly successful but if anybody does not think there will be growing pains has never experienced college athletics. Whoever it is will need and deserves the full support of Coyote Nation.

Tic Tok, what the hell are we waiting for! We need to secure recruits and possible portal players. We are losing ground right now. WV and several others are practicing right now. Time to get off the pot!
