usdyotes your comments aged well... Sorry Simmons peed in your Cheerios or slept with your girl or whatever. Move on now. Hold on I am off base? "Sorry Simmons slept with your girl" and it's me? Cut me up because you don't like my comments fine. But don't blame me for what this guy said. I will not take that from anyone.

Hey Eddie you have been up my butt since I have been here. By the way maybe he nailed your girlfriend but don't you ever say such a stupid thing again. I have never attacked anyone personally like that and yes it pissed me off. So I will call it like I see it. I am not kissing anyone's ass to be liked. As for the spelling and punkuation you have way too much time on your hands. Can't wait to see how you defend him next week.

Go back in this thread, he had beef with Simmons before the KSU game. There is an axe here and it is crystal clear. I have to agree with Eddie and I also appreciate yoteforever acting as the voice of reason, but there's some never ending vendetta at work here. Why? Who knows. Quotes from a post dated December 3, 2017: "afraid to get hit", "doesn't remember plays", "can't read a defense" and "not good enough to be a starter" for example, are from the end of last season. By the way, I cleaned up the misspellings and punctuation errors. After the spring game more of the same. Now we're on what looks like a continual, season long rant. Things here don't have to be all unicorns farting rainbows, but this is getting tiresome and ridiculous. Are we really going to have to put up with two seasons of this? No player deserves that. Cue the poorly worded and written, juvenile rant complete with name calling and lots of capitalization and exclamation points in three, two, one... Wow thanks for looking it up. 1. Afraid to get hit - KS opening drive slid a yard short of first down. Could of gotten the first before he was hit 2.Doesn't remember plays - Went the wrong way handing the ball off against KS not Henry 3. Can't read a defense - Should of been picked 2 times against KS but Just like their receivers their DBs can't catch. 4. Not good enough to be the starter- 100 percent correct at the time Streveler was. As for 2 more years of this well perform and I guess I can't say anything. By the way I think I did say he was going to do good against UNC last week did you for get to look and post that?

Not sure that usyotes isn't a troll or CF in disguise? At least he doesn't understand football. Northern Colorado lost to McNeese by 3 last week and McNeese was ranked 12th in the nation. So I think Northern Colorado is for "real"! KSU lost to 18th ranked Mississippi State yesterday 31-10 so they are for "real" too. UNC is a bad team. McNeese ran the ball like 55 times. As for them being ranked so was Youngstown and they look horrible but ranked so they must be good.

usdyotes your comments aged well... Sorry Simmons peed in your Cheerios or slept with your girl or whatever. Move on now. You my friend are an idiot. Just because you kiss his ass or maybe more dont know I don't have too. He pissed his pants at KS and you make excuses. Can't wait too hear all the excuses you make the next couple games for him. The problem with you is you can't take criticism. He messed up at KS cost us the game. He messed up against UNC it didn't because they are horrible. Like I stated last week he will do good against UNC and all the bs will start how he's great although a monkey could of beat this team. Beat a real team then talk. What will be the excuse when he screws up at Weber? I am sure it will be someone else's fault. So pucker up he's waiting.

who's play by play? As for completion percentage it does count. The bottom line like it or not he did nothing in the 2nd half period. Bob and Glen do know a lot but what the hell doess that meen? Did they know he was going to have a 42 percent rate and they would be ok with that. Even Bob said he missed opportunities did he not? Say what every you want if he would of performed we win. No bs excuses 1st game stuff. I think Bob has mentioned it plenty of times how he is 3-0 and the only undefeated qb in the mvfc has he not? So how is this his first game. Jeez man, it's not like he went out there and shat the bed. I expect him to be better but give him some credit. He will get credit when credit is due. Sick and tired of people making excuses. You want this program to succeed then he needs to do what us expected of him. All the talk of heard on how great he is and he has a better arm then anyone I have not seen it at all this year or last. He can throw it 80 yards big deal. All the hype needs to become reality.

I was trying to point out influences on Simmons' completion %, a good P5 defense and some drops, by receivers, also playing against the same defense. I'm very optimistic that both will be better against FCS competition. The play-by-play summary indicates drops if you'd like another opinion. who's play by play? As for completion percentage it does count. The bottom line like it or not he did nothing in the 2nd half period. Bob and Glen do know a lot but what the hell doess that meen? Did they know he was going to have a 42 percent rate and they would be ok with that. Even Bob said he missed opportunities did he not? Say what every you want if he would of performed we win. "Simmons vs KSU '18 24/56 (42%) for 257 yards 1 TD / 0 INT/ long completion of 34 yards - 6 different receivers caught balls - 4 drives that were 3 and out" Simmons stats from KSU. It was stated earlier in the thread somebody counted 7 dropped passes. I also saw way too many dropped passes. I didn't count them, so I'll just go with the 7 number. If the receivers catch the dang ball when it hits their hands that completion percentage goes to 31/56 for 55%. That's a big difference and we are probably not having this conversation debating Simmons accuracy. I don't even know where this conversation about accuracy came from as I seem to remember him making some beautiful passes last year, tough passes that were right on the money. I think we're all just getting too worked up about this. I seem to remember Strev singlehandedly giving a game to UND his junior year by repeatedly hitting the UND defensive backs on the out route for easy pick 6's. So sometimes great QB's have rough games and we shouldn't read too much into a single performance. 7 dropped balls is a matter of someone's opinion. I counted 2 real dropped balls. If the ball is thrown 5ft over a receivers head and he touches the ball its not a dropped pass. If its thrown into the ground and they don't get their hands under it it's not a dropped pass. If they have to dive for it and don't bring it in its not a dropped pass. Also take away the last drive of the game when KS was playing prevent and 57 yards are lost and 5 to 6 completions also. Again my opinion.

Defense - Awesome. Nothing else to say. Offense - Not so good. Need to complete passes. 43 percent completion ratio is just bad. We need to be able to run the ball more.
Someone stated that he completed many long passes. He had a 30 and a 20 yarder. Everything else was short. Don't need to complete long passes all the time. Need to move the ball which didn't happen in the 2nd half. Missed open receivers that would of moved the ball.
Stop with the power 5 crap .They had them beat. If this was against SDSU or NDSU everyone would be going crazy and not making excuses. Bottom line is you can't go 3 and out more often then not and win a game.
I am sure next week when we kick the crap out of UNC everyone will tell me how dumb I am. But beat a real team then open your mouth. Don't care if you like this or not but it's the facts that are talking not me.

Agree about missed opportunities, but I’d rather see those “low” balls the receivers missed vs “high” balls that turn into INT’s. Our QB was playing smart and it just about worked. You think he threw the balls low on purpose? Really. LOL

When you have a chance to beat a P5 team you have to capitalize. We let this one get away. Up 24-12 we had ample chance to extend that lead and put KSU away. Didn't do it. Yeah, it's great to come close. But I don't feel good about this one. Should have been a W. Lessons learned, have to finish, can't make mistakes. That 5 yard penalty at the end was the difference between OT and losing This one stings because the chances were there. How many balls hit receivers in the hands and they flat out dropped them. That would have extended some drives and change the whole complexity of the game. But it was good to see lots of young guys step up and play with no fear and make plays. Can’t wait to watch this team next week in the dome! 2

Simmons wins the game? Not the team? Your in la la land!!! Really? You really think he meant one player wins a game? He’s a dad of one of the football team players. I’m going to go out on a limb here and post that he understands the game of football. Good grief. What the hell are you talking about? He says Simmons wins the the game PERIOD!!! That means Simmons wins the game PERIOD. I don't know what else to say. He could of said USD wins the game PERIOD but he didn't. So any reasonable person can understand what he said. And don't assume anything. That's what he meant.GOOD GRIEF.
